Am 19, but when i talk to people they say i sound older, like 30'ish, unless i am being evil or plotting awesome plans to a) hook up mates, b)practical jokes or c)very bored, and i feel VERY OLD, i am more mature (at times) then most of my 25yr old mates

18. It's good being able to drink.

16 and 17 are terrible ages to be, but it's what I usually expect the average forumer to be.

I'm 18. IMO not a good age to be in england right now. Recession+closed minded employers not willing to give opportunities to younger people+media scapegoat-ing=rubbishness.

That's the best thread you can think of? Really?
I wasn't going for " the most intrigiuing post of the year award"

I really do want to know what the average age of the people on this website is.

Like I said, it's a simple question.

I reference one poster who said he has only been around to experience the Bush and Obama campaigns.
Was that me? I remember saying that.
I'm 16 so I might've been through more, but through being Bitish, having a bad memory and generally not caring. I only remember them.

Had to look it up, but yeah, you win the prize.

I suppose remembering Jimmy Carter and James Callaghan getting elected puts me in the "a bit older than average" bracket?? :(

Oh god, I'm old enough to be your father - hmm, perhaps I am your father.....

Huh. Weird. I thought the average age on these forums was higher.

I'm 22, about 3 months away from 23. As if that isn't old enough my beard makes people take me for around 27 (seriously, when I'm clean-shaven I look like 20 xD)... and I suppose the somewhat cold and cynical demeanor I exhibit in everyday life doesn't help much.

19. Also, in your poll, the numbers overlap. What if someone is 20? Which do they click?!
Based on current societal trends I assume that people would click on which ever puts them in a younger age bracket. But, you are right they do overlap. I wasn't thinking about that when I wrote this. Kudos for being the first person to point that out.

You can't have 10-15 yrs old, and then 15-20 yrs old. How do people know which one they are?

I'll be 23 next month. The thing that makes me feel old is the fact my car is older than some of the people on this forum (it's a '92 model).

16 in just over two months time. So 15, yeah. The age where you're allowed to do virtually nothing, but you do it anyway.

To quote one of my cousins: "Now I am 18 I can now legally drink, drive, smoke, curse and chase women. So everything I've been doing since I was 15."
