A friend and I were just talking about this the other day. I work a graveyard shift job and see maybe 10 people all night. I go to class, and am in a play, so I see those people, but there's only a small handful of people I choose to hang out with on a regular basis. Like, three. I can go to parties and have fun, but I don't do those often.

I picked the top one. I'm very social, always prefer to be in the company of others, and always enjoy the parties.

I go out on the town with colleagues, or have people round for dinner on the weekends, have been out for a number of dates, recently.

It's a great improvement on how I was several years ago. Nothing like being totally ripped out of your comfort zone and forced to make roughly fifty new friends in a new city in a foreign country to build a bit of character and confidence.

Still, not a fan of the wild party or the forced jollity of a club, never mind the music.

I only socialise with my best friend however they lived miles away from where I am. Other then that I don't exactly social well with others much to my family dismay and I hate feeling awkard in social gathering so I avoid it.

Quite social, i like meting new people but i don't get to do it as often as i would like, partly due to the crippling lack of stuff to do that doesn't involve drinking till you pass out and dancing to stupid club music at the weekends round here (Liverpool). Not that i mind that sort of thing it's just that it's nice once in a while, but not every weekend.

I see at least one of my friends everyday. They are what get me through. I wouldn't say I am "social" though, because I don't like mingling at parties or meeting new people. But with my close friends, I see them very often.

Not at all social. Hanging out with friends feels like a chore. I do it anyway because they are good people and fun to hang out with.

I'm not social at all, I have about 4 friends tops and I'm very shy at the few gatherings I go to, it takes me a very long time to open up to someone.

I prefer to be by myself usually but I will go to nights out etc and more often than not I'm one of the three that will set the bar for drinking and general arsing around.

Outside of my group of friends, though, I don't really go out of my way to socialize, probably because everyone else around here look as if they'd just rolled through a JJB sports shop in one of those cartoon fights that are just dust clouds with limbs.

I have a circle of 4 or 5 good friends. They are also in a study group I am in and one of them is my lab partner so I interact with them on an almost daily basis, for work if nothing else but they are a great group of people. When they introduce me to new people I will talk to them. I won't go out of my way to meet new people however.

Lots of just normal buddies,
about five close friends, two of which are the closest I've ever been to anyone, ever.
Yeah, it's pretty easy (and rewarding) once you get the hang of it. (I was anti-social my entire life, changed recently)

I'm alot more sociable than i used to be, at school i never used to say a word to people, but now i'm fairly good in social situations(or i like to think so)

Once people get over the fact that i'm weird/borderline mad they seem to like me, still i'd like better freinds than the ones i have. They can be majorly boring and if i want to go out, i aaaalways have to phone them its never the other way round (with a few exceptions) Plus in my group someone is Always in a fight with another member of the group which is annoying.

Still i'm slowly branching out to new people, so there is alwasy hope!

-Off topic-
Has anyone had a female freind thats wants to be your wingman?

I'm not a social person, I actively avoid banter with people outside my circle of close friends. BUT!!! When other people talk to me I don't shy away, I actually get along pretty well and I crack clever jokes and so a acquaintance refers to me as "a ledge'" (Legend). I'm doing just fine I think

Every once in awhile I'll be out and about with people, usually my brother. I'm just not the most sociable person around, and I like it that way.

Meh... average.

I'll hang out with people but I don't go to the trouble all the time like some, I guess.

I'm very picky about where I chose to go so I'm not out the house very often.

I hang out with my girlfriend the most at the moment, but I have plenty of good friends whom I talk to all the time.

Doing social situations is something that I'm fairly good at, but not always interested in if I don't have a specific reason.

Plus, I have too much work to do for school, so its common not to have the time do hang out with anyone at all.
