Poll: How soon do you watch your Netflix movies after getting them?

I usually get the disc and open it in excitement then lay it on my dresser till I walk by it one day and go "oh yeah, I should really watch that movie". I've only watched 2 movies immediately after getting them. (Sunshine and Pocket Ninjas) The reason is I usually have to be in a movie watching mood. So what about everyone else?

I used Netflix online services on my Xbox so it's sort of obvious that I watch the films right away now. But back when I go DvD via mail I watched then right when they came in whenever possible as well.
I'm always in a movie mood, especially if the movie is really bad.

It's shit is what it is. The whole US dominance in culture and what not. Youtube videos, Hulu, Netflix, Southparkstudios...

I mean, I get that it isn't necessarily profitable to introduce products to far off countries, but it's fucking frustrating. I feel like I'm living in some backwater forgotten town somewhere.
It's like they're trying to incite me into pirating all the media they otherwise publish in actually convenient ways.

That's a good underlying reason for why a lot of piracy happens, I'll bet. Not because pirates are cheap, but because it's bloody convenient.

yeah I get it on my 360 too. I usually will start up a B horror movie while I play a game on my computer lol.

I have literally had Netflix DVDs sitting on the shelf for a month without watching them.

I always seem to have something else I'd want to do, and the DVD could always "wait for later".

That's why I ended up switching to the streaming-only service. There was little point to paying for DVDs which I was never going to watch anyway. :-S
