About 170cm. About 50 years ago that was average. Nowadays, it's not. It's still the average in Japan and China, but here in Australia, people have been getting taller. In fact, in almost every nation people have been getting taller, due to improvements in diet and nutrition.
170cm isn't really that short, and I am aware of that. But whenever I go out, almost everyone my age is taller than me. That's just the fact of the matter. The older folks are about my height.
Combine that with the fact that I look like I'm about 14 despite the fact that I'm 22, it's no wonder that anyone who doesn't know my true age thinks I'm still in high school.
