Poll: how tall are you?

186 cm. Pretty good height, actually: taller than most people, but not so tall that it becomes impractical because of low ceilings, doors, or short beds.

1.85m, 6'1". American. Is it me, or do all those youngsters in high school seem to be getting shorter nowadays?

i think it fluctuates, i was shorter amongst a bunch of my friends who were on average 6'2-6'3, while i was average height amongst the grades below us, but the grade above my brother (who is a freshman) the average is like 6'3, they have two Wide receivers in football who are 6'6 and 6'8...so yeah.

i was never meant to be tall though, my mom was barely scarping 5' even so reaching 5'9 was good enough for me.

21 years old and 5ft 9, all my brothers are around 5ft 10 6ft+ but some of the taller siblings only has the same father as me, the brother closer to 5ft 10 has the same mother. However apparently walking around with correct posture makes people think I'm taller than I am XD

As a 21 year old male I'm 5 foot 6 inches. I really really hate being short.

I stand 5' 7" (1.70 m) and I'm 21 and I do boxing. So I know how it sucks to be short.

6' 5". Not surprising really, since both my parents are tall. I was more surprised by the fact that until three months ago I thought I was still 6' 1", but apparently I gained another 4 inches since I checked the previous time.

Also in what country is 140-160 cm average? Unless you suppose we're all female (Grown adults shorter than 150 is still unusual in most countries, even if they're female).
