Simple question. How tall are you? Measurements are in inches and feet because they are the measurements that i'm familiar with.
I am 4'11, or exactly 5 feet (152 cm), depending on who measures my height.
Anyone here shorter than me?
:O
WOw you are tiny.... Hehe tiny dragon.

I'm about 6'5 (about 198cm). Still growing too :D

I'm taller than 5'3" but not quite 5'4" so around 161 cm. I don't feel like I'm tiny but I always get trampled and sat on by bigger people.

I'm among the shorter people here. 172 cm last time is the thing that it says in my passport, but I might have grown a little since then.

im 5'10/5'11 which is average for a young man my age, although many of my friends are giants and tower over me like century old trees. but i hope i will grow to a full 6 feet just to be rounded, and considering my euesight has change that may happen. but if it doesn't im cool with it im conformable with my height.

6'1.

I find it strange that I'm closer to the average height on the Escapist, but I was one of the tallest kids in my graduating class.
Tell me about it, since going to University I've realised how tall everyone else is. I'd never felt short at 6"1 until then... D:

1.88m which is just about 6'2". That's just over average in my country. The Dutch are still the tallest in the world. ^^

I'm 6 foot something, but cant remember what my height was exactly its been a few years since I checked, so its probably increased since the last time I measured. Also feet and inches should always be the measurement for height, just as distance should be measured in miles, car speed in miles per hour and burger weight in pounds and ounces. We can use metric for everything else though which is basically the way our bastardised version of measurements works in the UK :D.

6'4. I'm Dutch, and we are supposedly the tallest people on this little blue pebble.

Makes walking through old buildings a pain though. Dear god the headaches...
Wait what about the Scandinavians? I don't remember the people from the Lower Countries being known specifically for being tall...
Some study or report or some such thing found that the Netherlands had the highest average height out of all the other countries in the world (the countries they had data for anyway), but i do believe the Scandinavians did also rank rather highly in the list as well.

...18 year old male ;_;...

I'm still holding out a hope that I might eventually get a little bit taller but it's starting to die out.
Don't sweat it if you're not as tall as others. There will always be someone taller, stronger or faster.

22 year old male, 5'4"

Wish I was a little closer to a average height for my age; people seem to assume I'm 16 if I shave.

Well I'm currently having a growth spurt so I'm not quite sure what I am at the moment. Last time I checked I was around about 5 foot 3, which was a couple of months back.

Interesting... I know I should say more, but that's really the best reaction I have other than...
"It's strange how a sentence beginning in "I'm not racist, but..." is usually followed by something racist."
I wonder if people in the klan ever say things like "I am racist, but-".

...
OT: yeah I'm about six foot. I've not been measured in ages but I know Dad's about 6'2" and I'm slightly shorter.

182 centimeters, according to my passport. Pretty much spot on average up here in Norway, I think.

What that is in inches, though, I have no clue. That's all gibberish to me.

I'm a female at 5'4. I am usually one of the shortest people in any given room, which isn't probably that difficult considering my flatmates are around 6 foot or taller. The only other lass that I live with is 5'7. I don't mind being quite short to be honest.

I'm not clicking anything above because I fall between 5'10 - 5'11'. I'm relatively tall but I manage to work around and, end up surrounded by people taller than I am. I could have sworn 5'10/5'11 was above the average height!

Fahrenheit is actually based on three points and none of them the boiling point of water.

0 degrees is defined as the temperature of an equal mixture of water, ice and ammonium chloride.
32 degrees is defined as the temperature of an equal mixture of water and ice.
96 degrees is defined as the temperature of a healthy human body.

Which probably makes the situation even more laughable.

It apparently has to do with our protein-rich diet for children or something. And genetics of course. The Dutch government even had to change building construction laws to take height into account.
