My last name is in the top 100 of most common. I had a friend once who wanted to set me up with a girl who had the same last name. Very creepy :/

My surname is Bogosian. Pretty unique since few Armenians live here in Colorado.

Stott. Which everyone misspells as Scott. Fairly unique I would say, never met anyone with the same last name. But according to the phonebook they do exist.

Roesch. It isn't overly common in Canada. We are pretty concentrated in southern ON. But it's a high-middle german name meaning Rose, which probably means I come from distant noble blood.

It's a bit more common in Germany, though.

Beca (pronounced Beck-ah).
Pretty damn unique, since it's made up. :S

When my great grandfather (or something to that effect) came over to New Zealand, the post office asked for his last name. When given, the guy writing his name was a bit of an ass, and couldn't spell his name, so he just put down "Beca" instead.
Then we moved to Australia, but I still doubt it's common here. :p

So... Yea. Outside of the extended family, I highly doubt I'll find someone with the same surname.
:p

My name surname is Anderson... it's pretty common and dull :(
You and my fiancee, thankfully my surname is INCREDIBLY unique, there are not many of us in the world. Very few in Canada, more in the US but almost none world wide.

Mine is incredibly uncommon... as far as the internet knows. About 3 different people with the same last name, according to Google.

Most people mispronounce it, but it is incredibly easy to get, especially if there isn't something wrong with you.

Mines Angus, I live in the U.S. so even though there are many irish imagrants here there a few that stick to their old irish names. My whole name is all 100% Irish, thats a bit uncommon here in New England.
