Awesome! At least i wouldn't have to take all these meds..some of which hurt my liver/kidneys
Ouch :/
Are any available that won't do that?
unfortunately not
Sorry to hear that :(
It my not be much consolation to you but I'm sure with more time and development better and safer meds and treatments will become available.
thaks :) I hope so as well... sadly it's the same drug cocktail (for the most part) menopausal and post receive... there needs to be a lot more research for sure.
Oh yeah for sure. I'm guessing such research isn;t high on many research firm's priority lists huh?
Well, good luck with everything :)

I don't understand what would be so fun about boobs.
Now that I have em... eh.. they are interesting. and a nice erogenous area, but yeah other than that, they are in the way quite a bit.

It would be time to move and hit the reset button on my life, fix some of the bad choices I made before I changed. I think it would be hard to adapt to lady life at my age though so I doubt it would be a walk in the park, because of that I would prefer to remain a guy.

The idealistic side of me thinks that turning into a lady version of myself, and experiencing life as the opposite gender, is a very exciting prospect.

The cynical side of me thinks that living in a man's world as a woman, and a lesbian one at that, is probably not something that I want.

I think I'd enjoy it for the most part, I'd miss my beard, for sure, but otherwise, would be fine.

But I would seriously fucking hate having a period. So damn inconvenient.

Spend all morning in the shower, fondling my sexy new boobs.

Just like all girls do.

In all seriousness, it would suck at first, as I would have to buy all new clothes.
And then I would somehow have to explain that some random magical entity changed my gender, and can I please change all my bank accounts and driving license and passport to photos of me being female with the same name.
Then after a few years I'd probably barely remember that I used to be a man.

But on the plus side, I'd live longer and not have to worry about going bald.

EDIT: Oh fuck, I'd have to deal with having a period as well.
Well, at least I wouldn't get pregnant.

These threads pop up once a month or so like clockwork, and my answer is always the same: I wouldn't really care. I'm not a terribly masculine guy, so becoming a girl might actually be an improvement. If I get the stereotypical girl advantages (increased flexibility, etc) it would actually be a huge boon, since I'm a dancer and more flexibility is always a good thing. That said, I'm still in college with a straight guy as a roommate, I'd have to deal with how everyone else reacted, and of course, proving that I'm actually me. Almost all the problems with being suddenly female would be coming from outside of me. (Well, almost all. I keep forgetting that periods are a thing.)

I think it would be fun actually. Having the opportunity to have seen the world from both gender roles/ physical sexes would allow me to give a lot of people shit for whining about one thing or the other. It would be a lot easier to be a rights activist if I had actually been both sexes.

Additionally, if my sexual preference were the same I'd still be Bisexual... so no real downside there.

I would be a bit frustrated but mostly just cause it would complicate my dating life significantly. Outside that I would be fine with it I suppose.

Ohh, the trolling I would do! I would tempt a guy and then just tell him "Ohh yeah, I used to be a guy a few weeks ago". The reaction that guy would make would fuel the happiness inside me for the rest of my life.

Picked 'no big deal'... but that isn't entirely accurate.

What would be?

"Complete indifference"

I don't identify as either gender. Or by gender.

I'd go back to being male the first chance I got, because that's what I was born as and what I really am regardless of what parts I have. Transgenders are just fooling themselves, if you're born a man/woman, you are still a man/woman, and no amount of surgery or hormone replacement therapy will ever change that. Even if you THINK you are really a man/woman trapped in a woman/man's body, you really aren't. Being male or female isn't about your sexual organs and hormones, it's a state of mind, and unconscious one at that. Gender is something that developed over years of having the world treat you a certain way and how you've treated the world in return, as well as what effects hormones have had on your mental state, all of which have subtly and permanently affected the way you think, feel, and make your decisions in countless ways, and THAT is what your gender is, it's not something that can be altered chemically or biologically.

Friends don't care and no sexual preference change? Fine with me. I'd get a surgery to remove the reproductive bits and live life as normal. Kinda unfortunate that my range of available women lessens even more so but considering I've yet to even have a relationship that isn't a dramatic change. Periods would suck but women live with them so I'd learn to as well. Also boobs.

EDIT: Also, if things weren't going all right I guess I'd become a transsexual.

DOUBLE EDIT: I just realized. That if this happened to MULTIPLE escapist straight males would that suddenly make us all be attracted to each other?

I'm a guy right now, if i woke up tomorrow with tits, i probably would get in the shower and stay in there for the next few hours.

You know, the same what every guy ever would do.
