ASSHOLE ALERT (just warning ya): Actually the end of the world does not necessarily have to be marked with a stereotypical Apocalypse, but could hold new world orders and technological advances in store. According to the Mayans, the world has died or ended and has been reborn several times...its civilizations becoming more precocious than the last with each time. As a matter of fact, we still uses phrases today such as "third world countries" that refer to this theory. But regardless, my money is still on the idea of the nuclear holocaust. "War. No zombies or aliens and not robots, how would we fight them? Throwing calculators or fire massive a-bombs at them AND kill our self in the process? why would we want to destroy our selfs?
No the way to go is if an asteroid from outer space hits the moon, of course the moon wont budge but the asteroid is made out of magnesium.
When a spark from the moons surface (when the asteroid hits the moon) ignites the magnesium it explodes; firing the moon into the earth, crushing half of the earths population.
Then the earths core gets unstable and blows itself up.
We wont have any guilt and it would be totally random, yay!
