I moved out for tafe last year and ended up back home. It's neutral at this point, because I'm starting to overstay my welcome, so it would seem.

Pretty bad really. I moved out 2 and a half months ago.

Parents divorced when I was about seven. My father is (and always was) often in an angry and irritable mood. It doesn't take much at all to set him off and he is very unpredictable. He has engineer training but only worked as an engineer for one year and was a gardener from then on. I stayed with him on the holidays for 3 weeks and he lives in a tiny (and fairly dirty) flat, which is just a room with a tiny kitchen and bathroom attached (can you believe all 4 siblings would stay at this place for weeks on end?) and he was worse than usual in terms of mood. He also provided little food, which is entirely the lowest quality stuff you can buy. I would just lie on the bed all day most days cause there was nothing to do, dreading the coming dinner made solely of boiled zucchini and spices. Also he is also really strong with this strange religion that incorporates lots of different major religions. However there is not much I can say to him to complain - he would just blow up and start swearing, plus he is helping with college fees.

My mother is also a moody nut. She is a prostitute and drinks a lot of alcohol and smokes a lot of weed. She seems to take her anger out on me (actually both parents treat me worse than the other siblings) and threatened to with-hold funds from college all the time (not any more that I've started), which can be really stressful when you are at school. She also goes over seas for moths at a time with her current boyfriend (she has not worked since meeting him). There is not much I can say to her either because she will just with-hold funds. Also she is fairly strongly catholic. This story might be a bit overdramatic but wanted to get it off my chest.
