I'm all for human augmentation. there are less problems than that video says, if you need a drug for a machanical part then that means the company specifically put something in the machine parts and the company could be sued for billions of dollars. The only way a drug could be needed without the company purposely putting a chemical in the machine part is if you need antibiotics to stop an infection from the surgery and you would only take them for a week or two. Also People have started augmentations in the real world already like the blind people that can see through a camera that is wired to their brains, it's really cool.

I would love to be able to splice my DNA to gain Mantis Shrimp eyes and the tail of a spider monkey, but seeing as that will never happen I'll take some cybernetics.

I'll probably run in autistic mode all the time to keep others from hacking my eyes, but I don't need instant wifi in my head.
Actually you may get those shrimp eyes before you die because scientists are already splicing creatures DNA together like the goat spider things. You can't even tell they're part spider by looking at them but they are able to produce spider silk.

Hell yes! to augmentation, but only if there were no "suppressants" required.
Nanotech augmentation seems the way to go.
As for the interfering with god, hell some of those retards are against the use of condoms today, but they probably would count that as augmentation too!

Personally, I can't wait for the day I can jam a USB stick into a socket in my neck, or get online with the wifi installed in my skull. All I want is to live long enough to become part of the Singularity.
Augmentation all the way, baby.
