We are born not innocent, but blank.
Everything we do is related to society, that is where we learn everything.

What is your opinion on human nature? I know, I know. Serious thread. But, here are the choices:

1. Humans are born corrupt and society is the only thing that keeps us in line.

2. Humans are born innocent and society corrupts us.

3. Humans are born corrupted and society corrupts us even more.
all of the above. because there are pure people but most are not.

You cannot define things as either corrputed or innoscent.
Look at animals, and see how humans are born. They'll look after fammily and friends (their "pack) empathy exists, otherwise no-one would gie a shit about charity ever.
But all the darker sides exist as well, and i'll bet ya no-one is 1 sides (all evil or all good)
Parenting usually makes or breaks children, and pushes them more towards one side than the other. it's never been societys role to raise children, but unfortunately, there too many lousy parents out there, and since society has had to do something for their otehrwise screwed children, otehrwise good parents become petty and think that they don't have to rase their children either because the fuck ups don't.

I'd say humans are born as they are, and it is up to society to deem whether that is considered "innocent" or "corrupted"

We have suited us for the global society, and no longer treasure the same 'tribal' attributes.
It's easy for some people in wealthy first world nations to talk about a global society, but tribalism is alive and well in many parts of the world.
I presumed we were talking about people in the 1st world. I don't know why really, but I did. For me, I don't hold those same 'tribal' (petty term) values, nor even nationalistic values. I think we're at least on our way out of it. We're getting more individual, opposed to thinking about the rest of the society, race and nation. I'm not saying 'screw them, ima think about myself', but having opinions about other societies, races or nations. We have gone into the stage where it is frowned upon, and called 'discrimination'. Basically we are becoming ONE society, and then those nationalistic and/or 'tribal' values fall apart, since those values often lean towards the survival and/or superiority of one's tribe or nation.

Welcome to The Escapist! Rule 1: don't talk about The Escapist. Rule 2: don't make bad Fight Club jokes.

I believe that people are born neutral, and depending on their life, become either more corrupt or more pure.

I believe answer three is correct. People are born backstabbing douchebags, and a society of backstabbing douchebags doesn't help.

The second option. I don't think people are born evil, but society makes them that way.
