I think Australians would either be affected but win, or not be affected at all. We have natural protection, and the amazing ability to magically avoid venomous/infectious multi-celled organisms with near-perfect accuracy. So sure, the zombies/whatever can try and kill us ... it just won't work, and then they'll either rot into oblivion or be beseiged by the 'more-deadly-than-thou' wild-life (Platypus, I choose you!!!).

Reykjvík itself is a already full of zombies. Just not your regular undead kind. More like the douche kind that follows the newest trend.
If you want to chose Iceland, any other city would be safe. Except for Grindavík, because it is on top of the line the separates Iceland into two.
