Just go for it. I regret never having asked out my bestfriend. I can't stand living with the regret of not asking her when i had the chance. I think I would feel alot better knowing I had actualy tried to make something out of how i felt about her instead of constaintly thinking of reasons as to why I shouldn't ask her out.

Pull up your skirt
Feel for a pair
If found, ring her, and tell her how you found her phone book and ask if you meet up somewhere and hangout perhaps. (Neither your home or her home, but a cafe or somewhere like that)
If you don't find a pair, sink back to your knees.

She only has one other friend at school. In other words shes not one of the popular girls that gossips a lot.
If this is the case I'm sure she'll be fine with a classmate calling her.
Just try not to sound creepy...

Best of luck, all I can say if go for it, what's the worst she can say? No? Chances are in your favor anyhow, so take a chance and go with the leap of faith on this one, trust me.

I need a second opinion on this. I'm thinking of phoning this girl I don't know very well (I do know her a little) on a date. I think she likes me because she wrote her name and a heart in my note book. I didn't have the guts to ask her during the end year dance (I didn't care if anyone found out I was just to nervous to ask her). I don't know her phone number, I don't know where she lives, and it's summer vacation. I think I found her in the phone book BUT, would it be a bit weird for someone she didn't know to well to phone her and ask her to hangout?

PLEASE! No one tell what I should have done instead of waiting for the last minute to ask (also if you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all).
WHY ASK THE INTERNET

Seriously, bro. You'd be far better off asking someone like your father, or your sex-crazy uncle (We all have them). I'm not trying to be rude here, but we have topics like this every week, and it's always the same list of replies;

*General overly masculine statement*, do it, pussy.
Same topic, same answers, same ol' story, same ol' song and dance, my friend.

If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. Come on, it's the first comment! Also this thread is pretty much done.

you're being pretty vague about exactly how well you two know each other, so it's hard to tell, and when it comes down to it we cannot choose or force you either way, even if we all agreed that it was okay it comes down to you having the guts to overcome the awkwardness and call.

PS: that heart on notebook thing is nothing I know a lot of girls who'll draw stuff like that on a notebook for people they barely know.

Goodluck if you are going to do it dude.
Remeber that confidence has won more girls over than money, good looks and power all combined.

Do you really want to go out with someone who's so desperate that they'll accept a date from somebody who met them a couple of times and then looked them up in the phone book?

Tell her you have sexlexia, and you need a tutor.
I hear that's a very sexual learning disability. You don't have to feel alone, even the mighty zapp brannigan suffers from it.

Personally, if a person I didn't know too well phoned me up and expressed a desire to date me I'd be chuffed. So what's the worse that can happen? Heck, even if she turns you down it's not like it's face to face.
