there are a couple of things on TV worth watching for once.
Really? I always find that there's nothing on TV for the holidays. Well, except for the Doctor Who holiday special, but that just breezes by. It's true that there are a lot of Xmas themes movies, but they're almost always re-runs. I used to like the cheesy stuff like Home Alone, but after seeing it every year it tends to get boring.

Maybe I'm just missing the old days when Cartoon Network had proper cartons for the holidays.

Relax and take the holiday off from grammar-nazism. :p
And have a festive hot chocolate with marshmellows and stuff. On me. :D
Thanks! *locks away grammar-nazi till New Year's*

My Christmas is 14 days later and I love holiday atmosphere and day spent with family so I am pretty excited.

I never thought that growing up would sneak up on me like this. I always assumed that either it would never happen or that if it did happen I would be aware of it. Growing up seems to be a process of mistakes you vow never to make again and, I don't know, when I was a kid I just assumed that there was more to it than that. It terrifies the crap out of me to think that the people who I looked up to might have been making it up as they go along like I am now.
This thoroughly depressed me...:/

Life is pretty crappy, isn't it?

It's hard to get excited over Xmas when you're not a kid anymore. The magic is gone, I suppose.

Someone should seriously get this on a T-shirt. Then casually wear it to uni. *innocent whistle*

It's more of a holiday that can be shared with little brothers and sisters . i like the holiday but just don't get too excited as much when i was growing up though the age of 4-12.

I usually get really excited a few days before Christmas but this year I was excited from the 14th because I was supposed to be spending it with a large part of my family who I don't see very often and have never celebrated Christmas with before. Then Britain got gridlocked because of the snow and my flight, and my re-booked flight were cancelled just like Christmas.
