I've actually been thinking lately I wish they would put out a Pokemon game like the portable versions. Enough or this stadium and Pikachu adventure crap. Give me Pokemon SoulSilver or whatnot equivalent on my Wii. Oh well, maybe WiiU. Here's hoping.

I remember playing that game, the first one at least, don't think I ever played the second. I also remember playing those mini games in the kid's club i think it was called. it seems like I played those for hours when I think back.

Taking my N64 and Pokemon Stadium with me to schoolies! I'd love another Pokemon Stadium game but I'd much rather have an MMORPG.

The handheld Pokemon games that are being released are great, but I miss the old Pokemon Stadium games. They were the first Pokemon games I've ever played and the 2 of my first 3 Nintendo 64 games. I'm only 16 and I have grown up but I kind of grew up with Pokemon and with those 2 Pokemon Stadium games being my favorites. Pokemon Colosseum and whatever else came out as it's sequel were a big letdown considering you could only catch the "Dark" Pokemon. The battles themselves were spectacular and I enjoyed them very much. I just wish it could have been more focused on that. Now there's Pokemon pinball and Pokemon Rumble Blast and they're just really drifting away from with made the "3-d" Pokemon games fun to play. All I'm trying to say is that I feel like they should make a Pokemon Stadium 3 with more features or a game where you can actually explore the region (Kind of like one of the handheld games, but in 3-d instead).
Hey, you didn't mention Battle Revolution! I think that was a step in the right direction except that the character customization wasn't all that great. At any rate, the graphics were top-notch (for a Wii game) and the battles were pretty intense and immersive--if too difficult at times. Perhaps they could work what they did with Battle Revolution into Pokemon Stadium 3.

I definitely agree, Pokemon 2D should become Pokemon 3D sometime in the coming generations. Rumble Blast and all those other Pokemon games that make even Giratina look cute need to go away very, very soon.
I couldn't agree more. Some things aren't meant to look cute

I'm still waiting for my real-time action game where I play AS a Pokemon. Mystery Dungeon was okay, but roguelikes are only so good. X Y L R buttons= 4 attacks. Give each one its own ins and outs to use, and have them sap your slowly-recovering stamina bar. Maybe basic attack and jump on A and B. Dodge would be similar to Metroid OM, where you tap a direction just before an attack hits you to dodge in that direction. Dodging would also take some stamina. Basic attacks would probably not drain stamina, but it wouldn't recover while attacking.

A game like that could easily do a lot of cool things on either 3DS or Wii/U. Survival sections where you play as a small Pokemon trying to escape powerful attacking predators? Racing down a mountainside as a Golem against other rock Pokemon? 3 on 3 battles in wide-open arenas? Terrifying boss battles against gargantuan Pokemon? (such as Wailord or legendaries) Puzzle solving using your special attacks to clear obstacles?

Hell, maybe they could make it rated M and have it take place during the war they speak of in the first games? GRITTY POKEMON REBOOT! Bloody battles to the death!
I would love this, a game played from Team Rocket's perspective, or a game based on the Pokemon Adventures manga (look it up, it's pretty intense).
