Poll: I want Shepard to die after ME3.

As the title suggests, I want Shepard to die in the ending of Mass Effect 3. No, don't lynch me yet.
Think about in. Bioware have said that they're going to make more Mass Effect games besides from the Shepard trilogy. Obviously, they're going to put cameo's of old characters into the other ME games. However, because each Shepard is unique, you can't really let Shepard appear. So why not kill him off?
And it would make for a helluva ending.

Anyway, vote and lets see if I'm the mad one here.

I'd be fine with either but I don't want to be shoehorned into either. Why can't shep save the galaxy from the reapers and then get the ticker-tape parade to end all ticker-tape parades followed by living out the rest of his days on a beach somewhere?

I'm expecting that, just like the suicide mission from ME2, it'll be possible to fuck up the final battle with the Reapers and essentially loose. So yeah, it'd be cool to have that kind of pressure for Shepard to either get killed or ruin any chance the Galaxy has of surviving.

Nah, I think there should be a number of options, but they all keep Shepard out of the way for whatever else is set in the universe. Heroic sacrifice, bugger off into hiding, cryogenic freezing, you know, whatever.
Hero dies endings are pretty notorious for frustrating your audience. People are less likely to get pissy if they can make the choice themselves.

This. I don't thing that there will be one ending to the series, But i bet there will be a lot of sacrifices involved, you already had to follow guides to keep everyone alive and even then i somehow managed to kill Mordin.

I think it should be up to the player. You can live, you can die, it depends on what you did.

It would be pretty cool if he could go build Tali a house on the (potentially new) homeworld. ^_^

Not sure what Don is but I've gone for it anyways. I would like for it to be possible for Shepard to die. That doesn't mean I actually want her to but the possibility would add some spice to the endgame.
