Haven't played the game since I was too worried about the direction bioware was going but have read up on the options and everything. Glad I didn't buy the game. However the only option I could give is destroy. This is due to me destorying the renegade geth since I thought they should die for their beliefs instead of them being overwritten into a new set. therefore no way would I allow control to a bunch of truly homicidal machines like the reapers. Synthesis, yeah I can just see the reapers indoctrinating people over a longer period of time and beginning the cycle anew so I must destroy them. I understand its a horrible option but I think its the best so that all races can truly be free of this cycle even if I am sentencing a lot of them to death and wiping out genuinely friendly synthetics who do deserve a chance at life.

I picked sinthesis, mostly because it was the only option no one else had considered. If I picked "Destroy" I would be offing the geth along with the Reapers, and if I picked "Control" I would be validating all the crap that The Illusive Man pulled, and I'm not going to do that.

Synthesis in my opinion is the best ending, the renegade destroy ending is just sad. I liked the Geth and EDI.

I think Bioware is going Dragon Age: Origins with ME3, near the end of DA:O you could do a ritual with someone to not die so soon. And then you defeated the main antagonist and after that you became the hero.

But if you didn't performed the ritual, you die in the end.

What I'm trying to say is... We better wait for a DLC or in the case of DA:O an expasion pack (a term that has been lost).

If the Indoctrination theory turns out not to be canon, then those vague endings are open to interpretation and I interpret the Starchild as bullshitter, choose destroy and wake up.

If these are the only endings I'm gonna get then my final choice is to swear off Bioware/EA permanently. Literally not worth the money/time in that case.

Cant vote. All the endings are bullshit. I just turned off my Xbox and walk away. That should have bin a option in this poll.

I want to be an evil dictator of everything, so I decided to control an army of super death machines that turn people into techno-zombies with evil.

Because it was the Paragon ending.

Assuming the ending isn't fixed, my final choice may very well be "trade in."

As much as it SHOULD pain me to lose EDI and the Geth, I'd go with the Destroy option as that is what Shepard and Anderson set out to do since the very beginning. And really, with no epilogue to remotely make sense of the choice I make, the only indication I have that EDI and Geth were destroyed is EDI not being one of the crashed Normandy crew members disembarking on the planet.

Honestly, Mass Effect as it is has lost most of its appeal to me. I don't really see myself playing it through now for years unless they fix it. I simply don't care about the game anymore. If I want to play a TPS where player choices are irrelevant, there are plenty and some are better.

If it were left as it is, and I finally get around to it, I would just pick one, probably destroy seeing as that is the "correct ending" thus clearly the canon one.
