I'm pretty sure I would. I actually enjoyed "Mirror's Edge" even though it had it's faults. Some of the controls wouldn't work when I wanted them to, the plot had quite a few holes (Having to do with the Runner's themselves), and it wasn't the BEST game out there, but it was fun and intuitive.

What are your opinions?

Probably as I really enjoyed the first Mirrors Edge.
Although depending on reviews I might wait for it to come down in price a bit first.

Yes, in fact I'm waiting for it. [http://www.nowgamer.com/news/2355/dice-talks-mirrors-edge-2]

Hells yeah, that game showed so much promise, it's nice to play a first person game where you don't have to shoot everyone, other than portal, that is.

Mirror's Edge holds the record of being one of the only EA games I like. When they stop making the same sports game every year, maybe that'll change.

Only if they improved what was wrong with the first.

Which was everything.

So probably not.

What specifically was wrong with it?
The story was horrid, the people in it can only very loosely be described as "characters", the gameplay was just short of being considered Cruel and Unusual Punishment, and so much more!

If they improved upon what was in the first game, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I LOVE Mirror's Edge even though I realize that it's majorly flawed. Hopefully DICE and EA can do better with the planned ME2.

As long as they don't do something retarded like making it third person or not setting it in the pristine white city (both of which would absolutely destroy the immersion of the first game), hell yeah! Hopefully with a more accessible mapping tool this time.

I will agree that the gameplay was a tad bit buggy and hard, but it's the first game of it's kind. It's new. It wouldn't be perfect.

It's like Prey. Maybe not living up to the hype but a very good game in itself (I personally think the control scheme in mirrors edge rivals the innovativeness of portals gameplay)

I'd love a Mirrors Edge 2 much like I loved Portal2 or I'll (hopefully) love Prey 2

Not perfect, I'd tolerate. "I'd rather be repeatedly beating my eyes against barbed spikes" I will not.

Eh...no. I give it props for originality and a cool looking overall design, but for me it has that colossal problem of being in first-person.

Probably, but also would not pay full price. The first game didn't wow me to the point of "I must make all my friends play this sparkling shiny new game" but it did hold my attention till I beat it.

Which due to it's length, wasn't really long. I didn't really mind the length though, I didn't pay for it after all (birthday present from some cousin who thought "she likes games and this one's cheap") so it wasn't a waste of MY money.

I'd definitely get some lols out of the inevitable Zero Punctuation that'd come from it, Yahtzee never fails to make me laugh, even if I loved the game he's tearing to shreds.

I'll be honest, I didn't like Mirror's Edge. Though it is one of the games I hold close to my heart. It's different and I love it.

The platforming itself was nice and intuitive and the environments were fucking beautiful. But the rest of it... ehh... not very good.

I really do want DICE to take a second go at it.
