Alright, here's the thing. The reason there are movies and games is because they are not the same thing. They're not very similar. A game is interactive; a game can have a shaky plot and still pull its weight if it has good gameplay (see
Mass Effect,
Dragon Age, etc.) Movies don't have that luxury. While I love the guys at Bioware in possibly homosexual ways, I don't see them putting out anything of cinematic quality.
Another thing is; the clips you just quoted are two-three minutes long, tops. A movie is not.
Finally, consider that the public is probably bored of sci-fi zombie movies. We've had plenty of both genres in the last decade.
