The spaceship and troops are just lame, everybody would agree on that. The jedisword + training is very cool, but you need to use the force to properly fight with a light saber, you need to let the force guide you.

I hate to be a killjoy, but aren't Jedi, the Force, and lightsabers all kinda synonymous? Or at least Jedi and the Force anyway? As in you can't have one without the other. Well I guess you can have the Force without being a Jedi, but you sure as hell can't be a Jedi without being able to use the Force.

Force and training. It would be nice to have the inner harmony that comes with the training, and the force is basically telekinesis, which is the best power ever.

It's quite simple.

Start with the force ability. Choke another jedi with a lightsaber. You now have both the force and a lightsaber, and are a badass.

Due to your badassery, you can raise an army of willing followers.

The army, needing mobility, builds spaceships, with your own personal flagship.

Why not start with the army, commandeer a starship, fly to the dagaba system and learn the force from yoda, then finally get a lightsaber when you're ready to use one.

This poll is insane. The jedi only led armies during times of truly significant crisis (otherwise they were just interstellar cops) and half the schmucks in the Star Wars universe had a starship whether they were force-sensitive or not. You didn't get a special or cool starship for being a jedi. Anyway, I'd go with the force powers and training. Blow shit up with my mind and what have you...

Ok so here is the question. If you could become a jedi but could only have one of the following four things which would you pick. Would you want the lightsaber and training, the force and training, the space ship with piloting instructions, or a legion of soldiers under your command?

Normally I'd pick force, but the force is pretty limited thinking about it... (unless you go KotOR)

But either way

I pick Light Saber provided it can be custom made
and I can refer to it as a beam katana
and legally change my name to "Travis Touchdown"
and make $#!% get real!

The force and training in its use. Sure lightsabers are awesome, but people see it coming. The force however flows through all living things, so when I suddenly pick someone up and throw them through the room with out touching them, no one will be expecting it.

"Becoming a jedi" sort of ENTAILS having access to lightsaber+force, doesnt it?
I mean, if you want to wear robes and follow the bare bones cobble of philosophies Lucas gave them, there is nothing stopping you. Aussies do it all the time.

Wielding a lightsaber effectively, per canon, requires you to be a genius or be force sensitive, and at times both.

EVERYONE has lightspeed+ space ships! you can buy them for just over 15000 credits!

any time the jedi get footsoldiers behind them, BAD THINGS HAPPEN AND EVERYONE EVERYWHERE DIES.

Really, this poll is utterly meaningless in its current, flawed form.

You HAVE to get the force to "be" a jedi.
the jedi CARRY lightsabers, even if they suck at using them
the jedi have their own motor pool
the jedi have a bad history with leading armies

It's scary how may people chose the Force over everything else. I'll go with the saber.

However, give me a lightsaber and a blaster, and I'll wreck havok on everyone who gets near or away from me.

Why? What can you do with an army after you take over the world (or fail to do so)? You need the force to not kill yourself/wield a lightsaber properly. What can you do with a spaceship? You can travel to well...nowhere. I guess "I got a spaceship" is a good pickup line but so is "I have telekinesis".
