Poll: If you could Choose between Battlefield 3 or Uncharted 3...

Currently I am debating between getting either Battlefield 3 or Uncharted 3. I love games with strong Narrative development, and have had a lot of fun playing games like FF7, Baldur's Gate 2, Portal, and Mass effect. However I have logged many more hours on multiplayer shooters (TF2, Bad Company 2, Halo) as they are easy to pick up and put down. After playing the Beta and looking at gameplay videos of BF 3 it looks as though the Campaign sucks and besides having beautiful graphics the game play does not look all that different from Bad company 2. I'm on the fence.

If you could get either a game with strong narrative but with potentially less replay or a Multiplayer shooter with lots of replay but no little inovation in gameplay which one would you pick and Why.

Uncharted 3 no question. As to why, well I've played the first two and loved them. I've never played a Battlefield game, so I don't feel as drawn to it.

Well considering that I don't own a PS3.... honestly though, I think BF3 is better in the long run, while Uncharted 3 would be fun for about a month.

Uncharted 3, any day of the week. I'm not the biggest fan of the Uncharted series, but atleast it's not a military shooter.

I've always found Uncharted somewhat of a 'meh' game, a little average perhaps. Battlefield 3, will it's another 'maybe good' military shooter. In that aspect I'm looking forward for the next Counter-Strike and Arma games a lot more.

I would and am getting Uncharted 3, it looks to be pretty awesome. I got bored of realistic military shooters ages ago and have enjoyed the first 2 Uncharted games so yeah, Uncharted 3.

I'd pick the game with the good narrative. Multiplayer games are usually just a way to pass the time for me, and not as entertaining as a really good single player game. Is Uncharted 3 that? I dont know...but I'm pretty sure I'd have a been there done that feel from Battlefield 3. I'd rather have a new adventure with Uncharted 3.

If I could? Neither. If I must? Battlefield 3 I guess, I like games with a sense of player agency so Uncharted is right out, but Battlefield would be okay if I could ever survive longer than 3 seconds.

Uncharted 3 no doubt. Well for me anyway that would be the clear choice, but I don't think I'll be getting either of them.

I love both franshises and have both games pre-ordered but there are several reasons I'd choose Battlefield 3 before Uncharted 3 every day of the week.

- Playtime. Uncharted will give me aprox 10h, Battlefield 3 100h+.
- Genre. FPS > TPS
- Gameplay. Driving a tank cross the vast fields of Caspian Border tumbles pretty much anything.
- Plattform. I prefer playing on the PC than a borrowed PS3.

Uncharted 3 easily.

You get a better campaign, and you get some pretty decent multiplayer that isn't just your standard fare of running around, aiming down sights, and pretending that you're in the army. Not even to mention that with Uncharted you're not supporting EA, which is always a bonus.
