But it could be increasing your potential by 50% as well, therefore allowing you to earn even more.

But your potential itself isn't something that can be earned anyway. Why worry about being able to gain attributes you couldn't get any other way anyways?

Hmmm... that is true. I can't exactly earn the potential to become better. I can only become better by earning it through hardwork. If I become 50% better, I didn't work hard to get there. If I work hard enough, I could get there. Yes I could become even better but the satisfaction of being rewarded for your hard work is better personally.

As appealling as immortality might be, taking it at the cost of the lives of loved ones isn't cool. I'll take the 50% faster, smarter, stronger, wiser option - I've already got enough in all of them that a 50% bump would be nice, particularly the wiser and smarter parts.

Defeating the need to sleep is one of my life's goals, but if I was 50% better at everything, why couldn't I just invent something to prevent sleep. Anyway, if there was an other blank, I'd take the world's best singing voice

Also the 40 bucks a day is less than working a full time job at minimum wage even factoring in weekends/holidays/etc. Not a great use of a hypothetical perk

Ohmygod the Bottom one. I want to be 50% better at everything. There is just infinitely more you can do with that sort of perk.

Although, 40 dollars a day does sound quite nice...

For me it was between these:

1) No sleep
2) +$40 daily
3) 50% buff

I ruled out no sleep because, while it would be awesome to basically be Gaara, I'd get awfully bored. I do basically the same thing every day and I get bored enough as it is. Plus, there really isn't much to do when the world around me is asleep, I've got no one to hang around and everything is closed. I may reconsider this one in the future when I'm working full time and have a family or something and I want to make more time to play games and stuff.

$40 daily... Tempting, especially given my current income. But the 50% better at everything perk would probably negate that since my boosted potential as a human would allow me to persue things I never could before so I'd be able to become quite successful.

So yeah, the 50% perk would be the best option for me.

Two honorable mentions go to "Killing" and "Helicopter ride everywhere". I'd have considered the "kill anyone legally" perk if it was like a Death Note kind of thing, where I could just kill anonymously by writing in a book, but I still wouldn't choose it since I have no desire to kill anyone, there'd be little use for it. I also might have chosen the "Get flown anywhere you want, anytime" perk, but I'd prefer to just be able to teleport at my whim. Far more practical.

No insects/spiders/rats/pest would ever come near you, they are always 100 yards away- Eh, gotta admit as much as i hate insects i'm kinda used to them.

The law allows you to kill anyone you hate, with no charges whatsoever- ....There is no way in hell i can accept this without looking like i've crossed some serious moral lines.

Present friends,family,loved ones dies but you are indestructible and cannot age- I admit the prospect of being jack harkness is tempting but...i think in the end i'll only end up going completely mad and become a complete emo unless i found some way to amuse myself and keep my immortal life fresh.

You do not need to sleep, your body and mind are always at 100%- I am one of those incredibly rare members of the human race who enjoys being asleep..so no, won't sacrifice it.

Get 40 dollars each day for the rest of your life- Ohh...interesting, atleast i'll never be short of cash.

Games and movies are free to you from now on but if you tried selling them or have someone else do it, you die- Ohohoho! Tempting, oh so very very tempting but...if i bought a really shitty game without realizing it i would be unable to sell it or give it away without dying so, no thanks.

Helicopter servant that could take you anywhere for the rest of your life- Very Tempting, but at the same time i think i might be able to do without it.

I'd hate to see people die around me that I loved, the knowledge that everyone I know, I'll have to abandon as they'll question my 'not-aging', let alone someone might try and experiment on you.

A lot of my days are boring, I enjoy sleeping and the feel of the bed and sheets, especially on cold days. I'd hate to have to do 24 hours every day, non stop...
