That was a reeeeeally tough choice! I went with Portal 2 purely because I've been salivating over the sequel since the first game (but tbh who hasn't been?)
I did spend a good few seconds hovering over Bulletstorm and the new Elder Scrolls though. Bulletstorm looks like it might be worth a rental and i'm a bit of a glutton for anything with Bethesda written on it but yea....Portal 2 will rain down like a sea of fists when it's released

I think Mass Effect 3, I could borrow all these from my friends, but Mass Effect 3 is the one I really want to own

I'm just up for Portal 2 merely because one was awesome and could be completed in 40 minutes... I raced my freind to see who could do it faster

Tough choice here...
For me it's either Dragon age 2 or Skyrim. (Apparently i love RPGs even though i rarely play them)
Dragon Age 2 is a must-buy as much as any other game whos original impressed me with tactical gameplay and great storyline. It was great and i've wanted the 2nd game to make amends ever since Awakening.
Then there is Skyrim, this game is the first to actually make me this excited ever to just be announced. Oblivion had always been my top game ever and i've said to most of my friends that i've longed for a game set in a fantasy setting to compete with the brilliance of that game. (Some people may argue that Morrowwind was the best game but i stick with Oblivion) Now Bethesda has finally announced that they're going to make the next game and i can't wait.
From those 2 arguments it's clear my pick is Skyrim.
EDIT: As of why i won't choose Mass Effect 3 or Portal 2 is for these reasons:
ME3 is still ME. I do NOT in any way approve of the way ME handled the RPG elements in that game. In my own opinion, the Renegade/Paragon system completely ruined immersion and made the "choices" linear. If that is in the third i will propably just rent it or borrow it off my friend when he've played it.
As of portal 2 i am not that excited... It is portal and it was a great game but ultimately very, very short. I cannot see how they can expand a game being possible in 1 or 2 hours to be made into a full title. It is portal and portal was a puzzler and never realy one of the trickiest. The best thing going for Portal was the character development with Glados and Companion cube.
And it never gave me my cake...

Crysis 2 on PC. Though Skyrim has me intrigued. My most anticipated game is the Witcher 2 without a doubt.
