Poll: If you could only have one game due for release this year, what would it be?

L.A. Noire, ive played oblivion and skyrim is pretty much just oblivion Mrk. 2 (not that its a bad thing or particually unexpected) and mass effect im gonna play some time next year once ive got round to playing through one and two again.

Who cares about Gears 3 seriously? The game isnt going to be any different from the last 2, you played one you played them all. You can't seriously be anticipating the story seeing as thats prolly the only thing that has changed.
Uncharted 3 will be way better than Gears 3, GOTY material for sure.
Uncharted is still not my pick though, I pick other, InFamous 2 mutha fuckers, kickass openworld action with great story and great gameplay.

Also how can Deus Ex make this list ahead of InFamous 2, Portal 2, Duke or RAGE. I mean Deus Ex will be good but those 4 will be much better.

Note: LA Noire also looks really appealing, great use of lighting and graphical action and camera work. Very Original game, but you expect at least and 8.5 from any game that Rockstar release.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Loved the original and I just need some type of continuation or something connected to that first, brilliant experience.

I would say Mass Effect 3, since no matter what I need to finish that story- but that's actually been pushed back to early 2012, if you'll recall

Because some of us hate Nathan Drake more than the grizzled lunatics in the gears universe. He is such an unlikable douche he ruined all form of love for him and I found more fun in killing him than getting through the story

Of your list it is hard to go against Skyrim, as it is the only one on the list likely to have more than 20 hours of gameplay. Other ones may be fun, but when you're limited to just one game to play you've got to get the most bang for your buck.

However, if I were going purely on hours of gameplay I'd get out of one game released this year; I already have Pokemon.

OT: my pick is Saints Row 3 if it gets released that is... Seems kinda doubtful when everything we know is that it will be released q4 of 2011 and that it will feature a gang trying to take over for the Saints...

Torn between Skyrim and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I'm more excited for Skyrim, but TOR is an MMO, so it could keep me occupied for a longer time until Skyrim comes out. So guess I'll go with TOR
