I would name all of the planets Nieuw-Vennep... because Nieuw-Vennep is a good name for a planet.

Nah, i'd keep them all the same though i'd definitely rename earth to Terra.

Moon would be Luna
The sun would be Sol, though it's already called that here in Sweden.
Uranus would be something else. Though I like Futurama's Urrectum, I would prefer to stop the whole thing altogether.
I'd change all the roman gods to greek gods. Ares>Mars and so on.

No.. I like the names of the planets.. They're named after the Roman Gods (I'm an ancient Roman history buff). But I would however remake Pluto back into a Planet..

I would change the Latin into Greek:

Mercury = Hermes
Venus = Aphrodite
Mars = Ares
Jupiter = Zeus
Saturn = Cronus
Uranus can keep its name
Neptune = Poseidon
Pluto = Hades (yeah, it isn't a planet anymore, but still it should be Hades.)

Earth can keep its name as well, Gaia just doesn't work for me.

Dunno. Maybe ditch the norse theme and name all the planets after random sounds you can make with your mouth.
