What would happen if i spell the name wrong?

If you spell their name incorrectly four times by accident they become immune to the Death note's effects.

If you spell it wrong four times on purpose, you die.

I'd go out and buy a phone book, get a few magazines detailing the 'hottest' celebrities' lives, and I'd get a few of my old year books.

And since there's no one with the actual brilliance of L, or at least no one who will be tracking me down, I should be good.

I'd either go the same route as Light and kill 'em all with heart attacks, or I'd make 'em get hit by a bus.

I'm a cynic, oh well...

The fact that you would use a Death Note says that you didn't understand the story.

Maybe I missed something since I only watched the anime, but didn't Light ultimately succeed in the end? Sure, he got caught, shot, and died, but he did what he planned on doing in the end...

Just to be annoying I'd just use it as a note book, rip out pages to turn them into paper areoplanes and draw pictures.

I'd start killing people that commited egregious crimes in my opinion.
First of all:
-Rapists. Oh I so despise those guys. I think I would torture them to death with the Death Note and let them suffer.
-Terrorists. Cowards that always have to attempt to go out in a bang.
-Hostage-takers. Again, cowardly bastards.

And the list goes on. Pretty much Kira's ideals though I wouldn't punish petty thieves for instance people who just stole a little money. There should be a way to just hurt smaller thieves, not kill them. For instance, a bank robber loses a leg or an arm or something.
