Face it, almost every man in existence will use it for raping.
And I'm not trying to be an arse about it. That's what we do.

Edit: I'm not saying that every man is a rapist (that's for the feminists to do, and bless their socks they need a hobby before they get back into the kitchen) but it's what we as a gender think about more than anything else. It's genetic.
Speak for yourself.

As for me I'd probably only use it to get stuff done, you know stuff with overwhelming deadlines.

now, i admit i might use it for something perverted, like sneak into the girl's locker room, etc. but i would not actually rape a person. seriously, that would be like necrophelia, having sex with a person who didn't move or anything, and that is just creepy

I'd use it to pull elaborate and hilarious practical jokes on those around me.

I'd use it to ace every test, and steal money to buy a mansion with, then only use it when I need it.

How could you rape someone when time is stopped, everything is frozen its like touching a rock. Because if you stop time you're teleporting so there's no space on the timeline of reality to have someone else move around because they don't have the power. Unless thats handwaved.

I would have only used it once. I would have stopped it last Christmas, when I stayed with my twin brother. He passed away less than two weeks later, and the few hours I saw him last feel like minutes now.

This power is only worth it if you don't age. I've spent much time thinking about this. Aging is the obvious downside, of course, but I considered a few other things.

What if you could control the speed at which time passed? In this case, you could make up for lost time along the way and have a normal or even extended lifespan. Slow things down when yr at play, or need to get something done, or speed things up a bit when you're doing something you don't like, like taking yr sister to the movies.

The downside? Well, while keeping things at normal speed does nothing, changing it makes the rate a little unsteady, so that it creeps like a bad cruise control. Slow down time a little, and it will tend to creep slower until it's stopped. Speed time up a little, and it will tend to creep faster until...well, the end of time. A little something to keep you on yr toes.

I would only use in situations where it was absolutely necessary, like if I were being mugged. Aha! Who's got the gun now!?

Okay, slowing time I get.
The question is: would speeding up time allow my senses and motor skills accelerate to a level where I could keep up with time? If it didnt...well I would look very slow and silly in the perception of others, now wouldn't I. And if they do...well I'd just always speed up time and LIVE FOREVER WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

oh and I would sneak into the shower with Kirsten Dunst <3

You could use it to become instantly rich by cheating at casino's (just walk around and look at the dealers cards while time is stopped etc). After your rich you would not need it that often although it would still have it's uses especially if your life was ever in danger. Truthfully you could best use it to help other people and save lives at that point because with enough money you can get anything else you want in life (except a good personality..that you need to develop yourself).

I would use it to get rich...then richer...then become the richest person in the world and help everyone else with all my wealth. Once I was wealthy enough I'd use it to win bets with other wealthy people in order to get them to ALSO help other people...and who knows...my ability to stop time might eventually lead to a utopian world where everyone is at least content if not happy:)
I don't mean to sound like a ballbuster, but that infact is impossible. You won't help others if you have so much wealth because of greed, we all suffer from it. We only give people things either because they are worth it or because we don't want it, but it is all for our own gain. If you disagree thats fine but take every other famous person in this world, they only 'donate' money to a charity because the media will eat it up like starved dog. And that will help further their career but only slightly, it's the fear of loss that everyone fears, we don't want to lose our money because we need/want it to survive. I'm one of these people even thoguh I'm not rich I spent over £80 on a girl I love (who is taken by my best friend) On trikets and pointless stuff but thats only because I lover her and I'm a stubborn git.

you would die quickly if you could stop time it would mean light would stop moving and you would be blind.
your body would be unable to interact with the air to breathe.

and you would either freeze from no heat source. if your interaction would the enable any atoms and molecules to gain energy it would draw significant amount of heat from your body

or you would over heat becasue your body couldn't displace body heat. if you couldn't interact with exterior sources

so even if i had the means i wouldn't do it becasue it would be a death sentence.

This, thinking realistcally.
But suspending disbeleif, if i aged still then i wouldnt use it for too long at one time, but it sure would make self-defense easier for someone with little upper body strength
