I would go to the 60s, become a famous rock guitarist along with Jimmy Page and that lot, and make sure that I was the innovator of things like distortion, finger tapping guitar solos, and I would shape modern music so pop never happened.

I'd be content with 2 years ago. There is plenty that I could fix in small ways that could make things so much easier.
About 10 000-15 000 B.C, Eastern/middle Europe.
I'd hunt mammoths. MAMMOTHS I SAY! I'd also be the first person to tame horses and start growing crops and therefore be vastly superior to all other humans. Then I'd create a tribe and breed a mighty and strong warrior people (I'd bring them knowledge for mining and how to make metal weapons), then I (my heirs) would conquer the world. (They'd conquer the early civilisations in the middle east, africa and Asia, and then we'd build boats and set sails for south america and conquer them aswell.) And then we'd create a world-covering state that would last forever. All will be well.

I'm content in the now, specially because we can't memorize certain events that would be my only real motivation to go back in time so I could make huge amounts of money picking the right Sporting Event winners and lottery pick. That and investing a huge amount of money into Microsoft.
Well seeing as how anything pretty much pre-70's meant not having equal rights if you weren't a white male, I'm only able to go that far back.

Only if you're American. In Britain the term is still used to differentiate between west and east Asia, and isn't considered offensive. In Britain the term 'Asian' would usually be used to describe someone from the Indian-Subcontinent, as to describe someone from Pakistan or Mongolia as Indian would be considered offensive, for political reasons.
