as for me, sniper round through the head from far enough away i cant hear the gun, and at a time and place where i dont know its coming. knowing when you will die is probably the worst

Being thrown out of a plane at a ridiculously high altitude.

Two reasons.
1: ....Falling rapidly from a huge height will make you black out after awhile. So it's very likely that I will be unconscious and incapable of feeling the very nasty splat at the end. Voila, no pain!

2: Nice view and I can pretend I'm flying for a few minutes!

Personally, I would choose beheading. Quick, painless, although crude. I couldn't stand the sight of a firing squad before me, or the anxiety of lethal chemicals running through my veins.

......So you think that having a heavy blade hit you in a place where you have lots of nerve endings is painless? >_> I doubt that very very much.
