lets not try to turn this into a joke now shall we

A third person/first person adventure and would use the frosbite engine, for a nice destruction focus. It would be set in 1958, where all continents are desperate for fossil fuel energy, so war brakes out and you play through both sides of the war, each side has a different feel of gameplay with stealth, assasinations, firefights and giant robot boss fights at the end every chapter that look like the big horbes from War of the Worlds

An MMORPG where you play as a PMC from one of 10 factions. Set in modern times with all the pleasantries of the modern world AKA cool weapons/helicopters/fighter jets. Instead of getting a mount at level 40 you can learn to pilot a helicopter and maybe a boat. Classes would be like from Battle Field 2 with medic, Antitank guy, sniper...ect. Your personal appearance comes from one of the 10 factions you join at the character creation screen. From there you just do missions to kill targets, escort targets, and blow stuff up like a GTA style game. The cool part will be a live fight for control over smaller cities in real time combat, instead of a battle ground. If your faction actually wins control of the city you then get XP bonuses and actually watch it become yours until 1 hour later when the battle can be replayed.

I'd make a 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game that doesn't suck and I'd name it "A 3D Sonic the Hedgehog Game That Doesn't Suck, No Seriously Guys, It's Pretty Good".

Sounds a lot like MAG to be honest.

Hmm... if I could make ANY game, and have it be good, then I'd make an RPG where you play as a Culture (from Iain M Banks's Culture novels) "Special Circumstances" agent, interfering in the development of a civilisation, competing against rival powers, and generally being a sneaky bugger, getting your way through diplomacy, sabotage, veiled threats, elevating people into positions of power, etc. You'd have multiple endings based on how successfully you manage to 'develop' the world, and a big overarching mystery plot that you'd have to solve. I'm not sure how I'd do the action scenes, though. Weaponry from the Culture tends to be a bit OTT.

Phoenix: Tears.
Adventure game.
After the mysterious death of his father, the eldest of two twins is chosen to become king. One the night of his coronation he is taken to a lake just outside the castle by his brother to congratulate him. His brother then murders him, takes on his identity during the coronation, and uses and old book to open a gate to Hell that is hidden within the castle, killing all it's people. As this happens, the corpse of the true king spontaniously burns to ashes and a new bdoy is born from it. He is then instructed by an angel to stop his brother. He was chosen by the ancient and dead god of fire to inherit his powers of immortality and fire. After a confrontation in the castle, where his brother and the demons disappear, he burries the bodies of all the victims and turns the ruined castle into a graveyard and closes the gate to Hell.

That's the story. It will mostly be driven by the fact that the man's life is no longer his own and he is not allowed to be anything more than the soulless weapon of a dead god until his task is complete, and his only purpose for existence is to kill his brother. And he must hurry or he will be doomed to walk the Earth forever, alone. And each time he fails having to suffer the pain of death, only to be resurrected and forced to try again.

I imagine the gameplay to be something like a very story driven, open world, hack and slash. Where the combat works more like situational actions based on stance and previous movements instead of spamming random combos. And new, lesser known abilities would be unlocked along the way.

I am aware of similarities with other things. And demons wouldn't be the only enemies.

Why hasn't anyone tried to make that??

A game called Revolution or Revolt or something based heavily around options. Combat would be slightly similar to Yakuza in that you could weild different items by hitting circle when the prompt hovers but also extended into a quicktime-esque manner use of fists etc.

You might see a circle on your fist and the other guys face or a triangle on your knee and their chest along with a couple of other options. While you could get by button mashing it would have a timing focus similar to Batman:Arkham Asylum and you could always play with the aim of badass and fluidity. Conversation would handle similarly in you thumbing the analogue stick up or down to change sentance paths while your halfway through them. Again you could get by leaving it on one path and going to make yourself a cup of tea but you should aim for impact and badassery.

The overarching story would be a young person waking up one day and deciding to change the world. You could ally yourselves with all different political ideologies such as anarchy or communism or simply putting yourself in power. As you progress through the game brawling at protests or speaking powerfully at them (Kind of renagade/paragon thing no real good or bad) your more powerful conversation lines would be highlighted and you would get more impact or in combat you would see more of those button options availible (suddenly grab a beer bottle and backhand in a fluid motion with R2). As your career and impact grows so does your power to further the revolution.

TLDR version: QTE game based on options in pursuit of a political ideal. :)

(If any of this tickles the fancy of a guy wanting to make a game be it flash or triple a go right ahead I'm never going to make any of it and would rather buy it than begrudge it) <--- Official disclaimer sortof

Actually right now my education requires me to design a game. Unfortunately it has to be about a castle here in Sweden called Karlsborg for reasons i don't care to explain. My game doesn't have a title yet, other than "Karlsborg", but anyway, it takes place in an alternate reality during the 1850s in which Russia invades Sweden and the castle of Karlsborg is where the Swedish military is making it's last stand. Even though this may sound like an action game, it's actually a puzzle game. The castle's storage is blown to pieces by Russian canonfire and the player is tasked to gather the supplies, like gunpowder and such, to a makeshift storage. It's a children's game (8-12) which is why I decided to make it a puzzle game.

If I had the chance to make a game, and name it, I would honestly say a cross between maybe "Little Big Planet" and maybe "Call of Duty" in the sense that you can create custom maps and weapons, as well as your own character design no matter how crazy they may be while still having a good online fps shooting side.

This may sound strange at first, but the way I picture this is about 20 or so people running around in various different suits holding weapons like a rocket launcher pistol, all while playing search and destroy on the moon over a purple Earth and smily sun. Sounds stupid at first but it gives fps players a great chance to use their imagination as well as creative players that normally play "Little Big Planet" or "Spore" or any other game like that a chance to slice off someones head with a green rubber devil chicken. It will never get old if the idea is done right.

As for the name, I would call it... "Mind Games" I guess, it would be hard to make a name for a weird game combination without it being something like "Little Big Wars."

WOW! I had no clue at all. I was awake for 15 minutes when I wrote that idea.
