Poll: If you own a PS3 do you own a mic?

Yes, and it's a professional recording mic put through a USB converter box... but I don't use it for online play. I use it for Rock Band.

I have a PS3 and no need for a mic.
If everyone on your team has a mic, I could understand why one would be wanted. But even 1 person without a mic cripples your communication to the point that it is pointless for anyone to have a mic.

well i got one, but i only use it on resistance 2, and thier aren't many people on thier who use it. its really only useful if your playing with people you know

I only use it if I hear somebody who is of average intelligence, and has common sense. Other than that, its always on the charger. But I do turn it on when I play with friends.

Most of the time I go on Uncharted 2 only a handful of people have 'em. I haven't found it to be extremely useful... yet.

I have no mic and also put on parental resrictions to mute everybody.

That being said sometimes I wish I could tell my team how much they suck.
