Hahaaha, everyone always has to make fun of Canada for some reason or another (I've never understand why it's the punchline for a lot of jokes. It's a beautiful place to live).
But looks like it's one of the few places people would feel safe to escape to when their government starts doing some shit they disagree with.

Depends what the war is about - If it was about defending the country then I would sign up (but probablt not front lines) I'd be like a support officer.

I already live in Canada so I'd either flee to another European country where I have family, or contentiously object.

Mind you, this would depend on the kind of threat we were being sent after. If my country were being invaded directly, then I'd likely stay to defend it. If it were more of this terrorist nonsense, then sayonara.

Wouldn't mind being sent somewhere, something new happening and I like going abroad. Treat it as some sort of new experience, wouldn't mind having someone force me to get fitter as well.
