Just look at the poll, choose an option, elaborate.

But lets point out:

A soldier has to command his/her group, take the lead, and take more risks
A scientist and a doctor have to heal the wounded as best they can. They may be protected, but still
A base baller is gonna have a mean swing, but not much else
An arms dealer has alot of guns, but would suck up close
A superhero has more responsibility not to get bitten than anyone else, to the point where saving yourself would mean leaving others to die.
And a zombie is, well, dead.

THIS POLL IS IRRELEVANT! ALL HUMANS AND THEIR PUNY BRAAAAAAINS ARE VERMIN IN THE EYES OF MORBO!

So...Discuss...

Arms dealers just have a bunch of guns. They can probably use them, but only because they probably were in the army before they took up their questionable profession. Or, possibly, you're talking about actual legitimate arms dealers, who probably know where the warehouse with the missiles is but are basically just middle management.

Superheroes could have any of a bunch of different powers, and a good chunk of them make you immune to bites. Batman wears plenty of kevlar, superman can just let the Zed chew on his biceps all day, he doesn't care.

Speaking of kevlar - really, if they're wearing proper gear, soldiers won't have to care. Plus, they can shoot zombies forever because the most unrealistic part of a zombie apocalypse isn't the zombies, it's the zombies managing to cause the apocalypse despite being less dangerous than your average homeless person.

Now, let's move on to the scientists - they're not doctors. Why would a scientist have any more first-aid training than any of the other non-doctor-people?
No, what scientists know is science, which could be medical research to find a cure, but will probably turn out to mean geology or something. Plenty useful in the real world, but in a fight to the death against endless hordes of inexplicable monsters? Nope.

Now, a doctor has another main advantage - they'll know the various anatomical reasons why at least half of those zombies really shouldn't be able to move, and they may as well be magical skeleton warriors, it would only be a little more impossible and they'd smell better. Hopefully, that should make them disappear in a puff of logic.

Baseball player? Yeah, he's food.

Soldier, easily. It wouldn't be difficult to get outfitted with body armour/equipment from head to foot that will render zombies useless against them. Then they have all the weapons and training and numbers. If it was some Resident Evil shit though, with everything mutating and shit, not much hope there. But a normal "zombie apocalypse".. yeah.

A soldier since even without guns and equipments the survival lessons during boot camp would make me more adaptable and have a higher chance at survival in a zombie apocalypse.

I guess the soldier. I was inclined at first to say arms dealer but just because he has a crapload of weapons, doesn't mean he knows how to use them.

The soldier seems to make the most sense to me. Here's hoping the soldier is at least somewhat of a veteran as opposed to a Private straight out of boot camp.

Soldier. I may not know how to lead now, but if I was a trained soldier, my experience would give me the required expertise to do so better than most, so leading wouldn't be an issue. Also, knowing how to fight, shoot, and generally survive in inhospitable conditions would be quite advantageous.

Alternatively, superhero, largely depending on the powers though. I mean, force field projection would be handy (especially if you could expand them as a moving wall to push zombies aside), and that particular power would make me zombie-proof. But something like super-speed, while good for my survival, means that if I am bitten, everyone else is f***ed, so no.

Soldier. In the Zombie Apocalypse everyone is going to be exposed to risks. May as well be one of the best ones prepared to beat them.

I want to be the guy who's flesh is not appreciated by zombies, but of course that doesn't mean I'm ill or have some kind of flesh bacteria, the only thing weird about it is that zombies don't find it appealing.

Superhero for sure. Superspeed, flight, transformation, invulnerability.. so many powers would make a zombie apocalypse trivial.

I voted Super Hero while thinking specifically of the Flying Brick variety like Super-Man or Captain Marvel(the Shazam! guy, not Mar-Vell). Even if there were super zombies such as those in Marvel Zombies, my power would be sufficient to weather any number of attempts to remove my skin of steel from my super skeleton.

Better yet, I'd rather be a android/gynoid. That way, I wouldn't have anything that the zombies wanted and I could go about my business of living like a human but in an incredibly artificial way befitting and artificial life form with all of the other replicants.

Yeah, you might want to specify the powers the superhero would have.
As is I'd just fly around in the air and use my lazor eyes to destroy everything around me. If I was limited to purely super strength or something, then it would be a different story.

Soldier.

Easy access to effective weaponry, and- more important- long term, long-life supplies like rations and water. And medicine.

Also, I wish to point out- the most effective anti-zombie weapon ever:

Bulldozer.

Seriously, A) zombies can't break into the cab, assuming it's covered, and B) you just drive through the streets crushing them and also helpfully stacking them in one large burnable mass for later disposal.
