No, I have a policy against eating things that have been alive for that long.

That, and I couldn't get through it without throwing up. So no.
Yeah that last bit is the same for me too, not worth throwing up over.

Also, it's just too damn creepy for me.

EDIT: I kinda forgot, for religious reasons too.

There's human flavored tofu, if you're really that curious.

.
Is anyone else horrified that in order to make that tofu, they had taste testers who had to be able to accurately identify the taste of human flesh?

OT

NO!

Nope, human meat is unhealthy. There's all kinds of heavy metals and other crap in most human bodies which is also why human ashes aren't allowed to be thrown just anywhere after a cremation.

You realise that there are health risks in eating human flesh, right? Such as prion diseases?

Short answer, no. I wouldn't.

I'd give it a go as long as the meat was ethically obtained (or at least in accordance to my own ethics not commonly accepted ethics). I don't eat meat very often and when I do it is mostly for the flavor complements it gives the rest of my meal, so I would be interested in knowing how it tastes.

I'm curious about what humans taste like cooked and all that, but I couldn't do it unless I had to. Stick me in the middle of the desert with a freshly dead guy, sure, no problem, but if I have a choice, I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Nope but thats cause I don't like pork and from what I've heard they are very similar in texture.

Meh, human flesh doesn't even taste that great.

OT: I dont think I would, I wouldn't want to enjoy it if I did taste it...

I have no moral or ethical qualms against it, given the circumstances you described, but one reason I might still choose not to is the chance that I might really like it and crave for more of it later.

Yeah, I'd give it a shot.

I've eaten all sorts of crazy and unorthodox stuff in my travels across the world, so the idea of eating human doesn't really gross me out anymore. If given a scenario where I could try it with no consequences then yeah, I'll give it a chance.

I have a feeling it wouldn't taste very good, but I'd still try it.

No.

Anyway, from what I hear, it's pork-ish! When I had a rather large hole cut in my back after unfortunate cancer incident a few years back, they had to burn a load of blood vessels shut. The smell as the smoke wafted past my face was very similar to when a pork chop spits fat when under the grill!

Knowing my luck I'd probably develop an addiction to the stuff.
So I'll say no. But for that reason alone.

I like pork and all, but I have no desire for human flesh. Part of the reason is I would be terrified of contracting someone elses stupidity by consuming their flesh. Thanks, got enough of my own.

Technically you could legally hack off a piece of your own flesh and eat that legally.

Probably not. It's not that I would be oppose to just popping the thing in my mouth for a taste, it's just I find myself with really know desire to, ya know?

and how would you cook it? What marinade would you know to use? What whine goes good with human? To many variables.

I'd try it. Nothing to lose. It's important, my mom used to say, to try new things. (kudos if you got the reference).
