So, If you were to join the military, what would you be training for?

myself, i would go for Sharpshooter. ive used an M21 at the local gun range, AMAZING...

I wouldn't go into the military unless it was a cadetship. The pay and conditions of regular soldiers is pants compared to commissioned officers.

Lol...noone ever WANTS to be a Grunt, but thats where most of us wind up. I didn't actually dabble in sharpshooting until after 7 years in the service. Pretty damn good at it too. Most times your MOS chooses you.

I'd be training for desk duties. I want to be the one who stamps the application forms and says "ahh, more meat for the grinder".

First things first - i'd only join the army of whatever country if it had a half-decent cause, and the country itself would not suck.

But if i did... Something tells me i wouldn't make a good sharpshooter, "cannon fodder" or "tech dude" don't sound too appealing either. So artillery for me. BOOM BOOM, BABY!

I'm not fighting for no Military.

Otherwise it would be something that involved zero chance of seeing action.
