Poll: If Zero Punctuation would stop....

Would you keep visiting the Escapist? I noticed a similar thing happening on TGWTG, because when the Nostalgia Critic stopped, I only heard people say ''Well, I never really visit that site anymore'', myself being one of them. But now that he is back, I keep going there.

So to pull this back to the Escapist, what if Zero Punctuation would stop? That really is thi site's main attraction, so I'm pretty curious who would keep coming. Me, I'd stay. I follow more then just ZP, like Escape to the Movies and Reel Physics. So I think I'd be coming back for them.

Honestly, ZP is what draws me to The Escapist, and reminds me of Movie Bob and Jim. Without him, I doubt I'd remember unless I caught a tweet by Bob that he had a new episode up.

Well, I'm active in a user group and on the forums, I read Critical Miss and a few of the reviews every now and then, I watch LoadingReadyRun, Unskippable, and Feed Dump, the Jimquisition and Movie Defense Force, Escape to the Movies and The Big Picture, and occasionally listen to Miracle of Sound.

So yeah, I imagine I'd stick around if Zero Punctuation/Extra Punctuation were to end.

Yes I would if for any other reason, I have a Let's Play group that I'd like to think would cry out in despair if their Commander abandoned them.

Zero Punctuation, while still entertaining, has really lost the spark with me. I used to get home on Wednesday and the first thing that would load on my computer would be ZP. Now...a few hours might go by and I'll get to it. Once in a while I completely forget and don't watch it until the next day. The "Take good games and rip into these few nit-picky things because nice doesn't sell" is just getting a little stale for me.

I like the forums, I like moviebob's stuff and I truly enjoy the Jimquisition, though not as much as ZP.
If ZP stopped I would be quite sad indeed, but I would still come to the escapist.

Now, to be fair, Yahtzee has had a very long run, and he's been funny for a good long time, but there's only so long you can keep that sort of thing going, and I think he's gotten past it. There's nothing so good it can't run out of steam eventually.

Of course I'd stay. Like shrek I'm active in one of the more active usergroups, I watch The Jimquistion, LoadingReadyRun, Unskippable, Feed Dump and in all probability when it returns Lisa's Top 5, listen to Miracle Of Sound and the Podcast, read Critical Miss and Critical Intel. And I'm relatively active in the forums too - specifically Gaming, Off Topic and news stories.

So yeah, while ZP is still the main attraction and I'd miss it if it was gone, it is certainly not the only reason I'm here, at least now that I've been here for quite a while.

If that would happen about 8 months ago when I just discovered Escapist and only watched ZP, yeah, I would stop visiting. But by know I'm fan of Jimquisiton, Reel Physics, Critical miss and intel and Escapist Podcast.

Truth be told, Zero Punctuation lost my interest quite some time ago but I can't deny that it was the reason I was introduced to and subsequently found enjoyment in the site as a whole.

No, we all know it will some day happen (Yatzee is not immortal) but there are still plenty of contents like the forum, Moviebob and other videos that will keep me on here when there is no more ZP.

I mainly come to The Escapist for the forums and the user groups now anyway, Zero Punctuation hasn't been the main reason why I come here for a very long time.

Plus my favourite content on this site is the Jimquistion and I haven't even watched ZP in weeks.

I'm pretty much with Tippy on this one, I still watch ZP but it wouldn't greatly factor in my life if next week turned out to be the last one. At this point I'm pretty much here for the community, they could remove every video and article from the site and I'd still come here for the forums.

ZP is why I started coming here, but I come for the forums now. I often forget that a new ZP is out.
