Poll: I'm Changing my Avatar and losing my Recognition!!!

No one knows who I am, so it doesn't matter. I think I'll change my avatar soon, I'm tired of it. But I have no clue what I'd replace it with. That thing above the avatar, the title, I've never been satisfied with that either. Can't think of anything good. I don't think I've ever had an avatar on any site that I've liked enough to never consider changing it.

I used to have a mushroom cloud explosion avatar. I wanted to change it to something else when I got 1000 posts. I might go back to it someday...
I don't really think it matters though. I don't think anyone knows me.

I know I've already posted here but I want to expand on something and get an opinion.

Firstly: I thought the majority of people were recognized my name. I couldn't tell you what Fappy, DVS BSTrD or Topaz Fusion's avatar were but I know them. If you are big enough then people will recognise you regardless.

Secondly: This may be slightly off topic but I'l like to ask an opinion of whoever may read this... Should I keep my current avatar:

I know you! In fact I was wondering what happened to your clown faced mushroom cloud. I did not recognize your current avatar as being you. It wasn't until I glanced at the name (which I'm starting to make a conscious effort to make a habit of) that I recognized you.

But at least you have an easily recognizable handle. When I glance at ones that are all numbers and such they often don't register, whereas people with NAMES for their NAMES do.

I change mine fairly reguly....but I keep one element, now I can't even think of changing to somthing else

Hazaah! Recognition. I tend to recognize people by usernames and avatars, so I don't get confused for very long if at all if some changes their avatar. I changed the Clown for the sake of change. I'm probably going to go back to and just fiddle with details in photoshop. That way I'll have recognition and change!

The eye avatar I have now is based on a picture of my eye I took for medical stuff. I thought it'd be cool to make it look all evil since it was already pretty "dark/creepy" looking. It didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped
