the console war between PS3, X-BOX 360 AND WII I believe is just annoying now. for years we have defended our consoles with a sword in one and a controller in the other and whats the point. I have a PS3, i bought it for free online and i love it...why should i need to defend from myself from a horde of x-box users because they have a differnt view. i like my console, X-Box and Wii owner should like their consoles. why argue if your happy it shouldnt matter. end it!

one final thing even if 2 consoles went bankrupt and there was a clear winner that was untouchable...people will still say their own console was better wouldnt they.

They all have their ups and downs, just play what you got and quit complaining about it who cares if someone else thinkgs the PS3 is better than 360 or whatevever

It's dem fanboys/girls. I know two on this site that prevented me from owning a PS3 because of because they own them and take too much pride in that system. I have an Xbox 360 and a Wii and I love the Wii more then the other ones. Not saying the PS3 is a bad system, I'm not fond of most of there games. And I thought Imfamous would be that game I'd like. Wasn't impressed but not disappointed either. Hell, that's like some of the Xbox 360 games. Some are good and some are bad. Everyone will call out a game to bash for no reason and the owners will defend them. Best example is Halo. They bash on it on how it sucks and it got prefect to near prefect scores and I counter with LittleBigPlanet. That game got prefect to near prefect scores as well and I thought it was a shitty platformer. But then there's the PC owners. Well...while PC's have a decent selection, you'd need a computer to handle it. So you'll spend lots of money to build a great computer to play for example Crysis. And then brag about how your computer plays Crysis with no problem. There is no end. Personally. These comments are why I love the Wii. Most people bash the Wii because of the Graphics and shitty games it has and the motion controls that I've never had a problem with them and reviewers complain about the motion not registering yet my cousin can play Zack and Wiki and Madworld with no problem. My view on the console wars is....that it's the best show on Earth.

I concur.

Anyhow, I'm neutral on the console war. The only reason why people fight to prove that their console is the best is because deep down they don't know if it's true. They just want positive reinforcement, from my point of view.

I never thought any one actually cared about this I always thought it was just a matter of opinion and taste. I bought x-box 360 becuase of the game library and cost (at the time PS3 had like 3 games out).

I totally agree there. The PC is not a console for one thing. Due to the lack of soap to clean my mouth afterwards, I won't go in the other things :D

While the PC is definitely not a console, it most certainly is involved in the console war.

I mean, you even see it in this thread, someone is always gonna come along and claim that PC > consoles.
That doesn't sound much different from 360 > PS3 or PS3 > 360 eh?

There's always going to be people who argue about their choice being better and honestly I find the console warriors to be less annoying but more childish than political or religious fanboys who can get downright violent and destructive.

It's still completely pointless but I can see why some may want to veer others (who are trying to decide which console to get) away from decisions they regret or a business they see as taking advantage of its customers.

We however will not be able to stop any of it. These flamewars are mostly instigated and proliferated by the console makers with the millions of dollars they waste on PR and guerilla marketing. It's futile so just fix a drink/smoke put your feet up and watch the flames fly.
