One year of happiness. Living forever would get boring. I want to die eventually, especially if my life is just a bland, normal life, as is suggested by the immortality option. I'd much rather have that one year where everything goes right.

Wait, if everything went right for you in that one year, wouldn't you be able to change the rules so that you wouldn't die?

Anyways, I'll go one year of greatness over immortality anyday, because almost nothing is worse than immortality.

Immortality, provided I have a self-imposed scapegoat. So I could kill myself, but not be killed.

Best case scenario for that.

"Where everything goes right" you say?

Well than. One year of complete happiness and perfection to me. I'd use it to put all the wrong things right.
Can't get killed by some villain if everything goes right, can I?

Than die one year later as a complete legend, and a role model for many people.

With Immortality, I would die and hell would come.

ok solve that cryptic message if you can.

A year Where everything goes right for me?

lets see - I would meet a great chick and fall in love - this time without misguided affections. [sub]THAT wasn't a nice time for me...[/sub]

I would release three books and gain world respect from writers everywhere.

I would be with my dad alot more.

I would die in the middle of sweet passionate love with the girl, and so would she.

My personal beliefs prove true and me and the girl would spend the rest of eternity as happy ghosts - how could this be a worse situation than all of eternity being enslaved by a power hungry immortal who is me in name only?

Definitely immortality. My life is currently a very happy one just as it is, and I can't help but think of all the possible things one could achieve with immortality, not to mention being able to live to see the future of humanity, for better or for worse (I suspect that it will be for the worse, but you can always hope we get our act together eventually and do something right for a change).

I'd imagine it depends on your personality, if you're the kind who wants to change the world and make big things happen, immortality is the way to go, as you'll have the time to go long term with plans.

So yeah, I'd cash in the rest of my life for a year of everything being perfect.

One problem I see with this, isn't dying in a year going to be so much worse because everything is perfect?
