Do you mean, like, go into third person and saving while looking at yourself?

If so, then no.
I save A LOT in New Vegas. I save every time I'm about to enter a new cell. Posing for every save would take up a lot of time.

WTF?!

(Yes, I voted this.)

I've no idea... I'm getting visions of Austin Powers, and then nothing. What?

I will usually find a view that is unique to where I am, so I can distinguish my saves by looking at them.

But I don't really pose.

I usually save over the latest kill or at some marvelous vista, but I may have done so once or twice.

Sometimes, if there is a really cool image I want to capture and I JUST HAPPEN to be coming off as I think of it.

Happens more often in Oblivion, though. Sitting on the Dementia throne dressed in fancy armour is always cool.

No. I have never even though about doing that...Bah, I save far to much to do it anyway. I swear if I was on the PC I would be hitting the quick save more often then i fire bullets.

Hell yeah ... I only save every 5 hours or so .. so I make it look nice.
Heck, I even have outfits specifically for saving.

I haven't ever. But ... I might try this when Skyrim comes out.

It'll be 12 at night. You'll hear random laughing, and what sounds like a photographer yelling at a model.

"GODDARNIT. That dilapitated arm ... needs to be more to the right. ... ... FUUU!"

I spam saves as well, so normally, I don't. I do, however, tend to sit down in a chair when I save before shutting the game down, though. But that's just a bit of role-playing poking through.

Good way to corrupt your save. Trust me on this one, this game engine can not handle over-writing a file very often without corrupting that file.

For that matter, disable Autosave for the same reason.
THIS.
A million times, this.

I have never had corrupted saves on any Bethesda game, and I must have clocked some 500 hours on Oblivion.
Because I rarely save.

I always third person out to a view of my character aiming whatever gun they have at the time. Works well to distinguish saves and looks good too.

Not in Fallout, but in Kotor, I had to save when it looked like something out of the Matrix. My character had just dodged a laser, and it paused, automatically, so I could look around. Saved it there, so I could later go back and have a look.

nope, apart from in the third one when i filled the bathtub outside of Megaton with Caravan-ers corpses and then detonated a frag mine that i placed on top of the pile. It was a sick work of art, the bits of jaw, eyeballs, arms, legs ect flowering off into the distance.... actually, i still have the save... heh
