No problem, but where's Africa, Azia and Australia? (okay maybe not many readers from Africa..but still)

The options are up there, didn't you see them before you clicked? Because I am pretty positive I listed the options for all 7 continents, and then later added "Pangea", for lulz (with Antarctica being semi-lulz).

Just there happened to not be anyone on this site from Africa, Australia or Asia that have seen this thread. Possibly due to timezones, who knows?

How far off the main land is it? Even if it is a big island if it's not in the middle of the ocean shouldn't it go with where every it's closest to. Also, the way my science taught up continents are more geographic and less diplomatic. e.i. you can't really use diplomacy to say "I'm not in the continent". Maybe that's just how I learned it.

Actually, I literally am an English Professor. I would personally change your title to something like "In What Country Do You Live?" That seems to work for me.

I honestly was not trying to be a dick, I just saw it and thought that I should point it out. I really could not tell you why I felt so compelled to do so either.

Ah, the topic title in general. And yes, to be honest, I'd assumed you were serious with your profession. I may want to have a word with you about a book project I'm pursuing (you brought this upon yourself).

You know what's funny? For the longest time I thought "preposition" was synonymous with "proposition." 'Get that mistake often?

Anyways, in my ever lasting struggle for correct grammatical knowledge, the title has been changed. Not as a bow to dickholery (which wasn't necessarily present), but if only to be right, and whatnot.

I must say this is the first time I have ever heard of that confusion. However, I must say your confusion is not completely unjustified, the two words at least sound very similar. Thank you for changing your title, and not thinking that I was resorting to complete dickholery (nice word by the way).

I would be more than happy to give you some help with the book project that you are pursuing, I might as well use my powers for good. Just ask and I would be more than happy to give you a hand.
