Anyway, I think it deserves to be on there, for sure. But not at #3. Simply because Star Wars is below it. And nothing is above Star Wars. Nothing.

A movie is only as good as it's viewer's perception, right? One man's trash is another man's treasure. Idioms galore but let's not tear down a really good movie shall we -- if some of the comments are anything to go by? I'm just saying that there are other places to troll around, and if anyone thinks a certain movie is better than inception, then you're right. Yes, you, you're right, but, fortunately, you don't represent everyone, so most readers would appreciate it if trolling is left to a bare minimum. Oh, wait, let's not troll at all.

Okay so..

Inception deserves any, and all, accolades that it's been receiving and if a movie's rank on IMDB is based on a director's mastery of storytelling, a solid performance from the cast ensemble and a score that pulls you deeper and deeper (no matter the levels) into the story, then Inception, indeed, deserves it. It's a polished movie and, like Avatar was, a perfect movie for some movie-goers, and having said that, it's just not for all. Anyway, I enjoyed the ride tremendously and wouldn't mind getting on that train again. I'm sure there are plenty of others as well.

I thought it was a fantastic movie, but I think there are better candidates for the spot. So while I wouldn't take it off the list entirely, I'd easily knock it down a few dozen spots.

if it were up to me, i would definitely say yes. on my personal list, inception is number 4. but for imdb? they seem like a more elitist group with their godfathers and their 12 angry men and apocalypse nows. it seems a little out of place. not that im complaining ya?

Who will remember Inception in 30 years?

I'm going to make a bet and suggest that it will still be a revered movie. A lot of blockbusters don't have much staying power. However, its been quite some time since seeing it in the theaters, and I still find my mind drifting back to it periodically.

I don't think about casablanca ever.

Except just now.

And just then.
