Poll: inFamous or Prototype?

inFamous and Prototype seem to be 2009's hot new titles in which a guy with super powers runs around a grey-brown city wreaking havoc. So--which one are you looking forward to and think will be the better of the two?

From what I've seen, which is very little, inFamous is Crackdown with lightning powers, and Prototype is a palette swapped Hulk: Ultimate Destruction with a few new abilities.

I'll rent both, but from what I've seen I think inFamous looks better.

No idea. I'll sit on my hands and wait, though I do like the HOLY-SHIT-BLOOD-EVERYWHERE aspect of Prototype.

At first, I kind of confused the two. I've only seen Prototype in action, so I can't say.

It's not at all. I'd put my money on it being the better of the two, but I do know more about [Prototype] so my assessment may be a little off.

I'm looking forward to inFamous, more-so than Prototype. Of course, much unlike mark_n_b, I know considerably more about inFamous, so my opinion might be a little biased.

Truth be told, though, neither looked like a super-amazing game that would be a hugely innovative step in gameplay or story-telling. Granted, again, I don't know as much about them as I could (and perhaps should), but whaddya gonna do?

Yeah, same here, but if I could choose I'd still go for Prototype.

I say inFamous. I'm not overly enthusiastic for either one, but inFamous' gameworld looks a bit more interesting, and it does more with the grey-brown art style.

I think its kinda weird that only inFAMOUS and Prototype have garnered this highly comparative reaction. I mean, you don't see many threads comparing Halo Wars And Stormrise, 2 widely different Console RTS's.

Part of the problem may be that I've never even heard of Stormrise 2. Halo Wars has far more media coverage.

Which one has the Electrical Powered dude instead of the Shape Shifting dude?

I want to play that one... IF I could only choose one.

Definitely Prototype. I'm a total gore whore, the shape shifting powers look badass, and heavily exaggerated free-running seems more fun than realistic free running.

inFamous looks okay, but it doesn't have that "wow" factor.

I may give it a rent. But I'm not getting my hopes up, since, so far all PS3 exclusives have failed to impress me.
