I do not like beards on men. My boyfriend is well aware of my opinion of his beard, but he refuses to shave it (as is his right). I like clean shaven or some sexy stubble.

Yet I have fucking bear arms and a slightly exposed bear chest and thats just fine. To be fair if asked to wax those I think I'd punch the asker without hesitation.
Edit: When I leave this job I shall return to my former bearded glory but only the league will see because I lack photo sharing accounts.
Beards can look good but it has to be maintained well it can't just be a scraggly tangled mess. I kept a clean chin strap, sometimes a goatee, sometimes a moustache, sometimes combinations.
It's impractical for me to keep cleans haven as I'm one of those people who has 5 o'clock shadow within 10 minutes of shaving and can sand down iron with my face after a day.

While I'm only 18, I pretty much keep a perpetual short beard all year round. I look like a child clean shaven, and I'm so used to having facial hair that it'd feel... Odd without.
I'm also the only 18 year old I know capable of being able to grow a full beard. Granted, I do lack that little bit between me 'stache and chin on each side, but hey ho. Must be that Greek blood in me =D

I look better clean shaven, but I tried having a beard, but it was too much work keeping it nice n' spiffy. Though it did look nice when I groomed it properly. I've been told I look better with less facial hair anyway, especially when my hair gets longer, suddenly I transform into a hobo.
Jep, i usually rock a beard, but i can pull it off really good. I keep it groomed, that's a habit that stuck with me after military service, because you either had to be shaved or have a groomed beard.
And in the service this meant i had to shave at least once often twice a day since i have a high beard growth which left my cheeks + neck red and soar.
And sometimes i just feel like: "Jup, this has to go" and then off it goes. Since I know I can grow one again in 2-4 weeks i dont have to feel bad about it.
But i look like +5 years younger without a beard so i'm not too comfortable without one.
Also sofar the ladies digged it too. Apparently my beard hair is pretty smooth, whatever that means.

They actually look pretty silly and the ladies hate it, but I'm fond of growing silly facial hair in winter.
Come summer though, that shit is outa here. Facial hair in hot whether is no fun at all.
