I eat them cooked, because im not a savage. Honestly, I cannot even imagine eating them dry.

Usually when I cook them, though, I like to jazz them up a little. Soy sauce, bit of chilli powder, and mushrooms usually do the trick.

In order to go with the general vibe I'm getting here, I'll say I enjoy cooking my noodles in bleach.

Seriously I'm gone for a month and everyone is drinking it?

Bah, I hadn't realized you all missed me that much.

Seriously though, I agree with Xprimentyl. You cook and drain the noodles, then mix in your flavor/other bits/bleach. Is good.

And that's when it hit me. The various additions are half the point, as you can spice up the soup to be kinda different at any time, and the chopsticks actually are the best way to eat it.
Well...yeah. A lot of "proper" instant noodle packets are designed to be a base for the Japanese dish ramen [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramen]. That's why the flavour packets explicitly say that its a soup broth.

I used to boil them down until I realised I was ruining a lot of them (there are very few I've found that are designed to be "just instant noodles" and not a ramen base). Now I make it up properly. Chop up some meat into it, eggs, vegetables, etc.

I like them slightly cooked so that there is a residual crunch to them.
