I want it back on TV, but as for new episodes, those arent gonna happen the animator hated doing the show, and went to comics instead.

He did not hate doing them, he hated the people he was doing it with.

With all the stupid shows on kids programming nowadays Invader Zim needs to come back. Most all of the kids programming from the 90's needs to come back. Just watch any of the shows today and you will see why. At least 90's tv shows made you think with there subtle jokes and humor. Now all the jokes in cartoons is culture and icon bashing just to get simple laughs. I bet some of us who were raised on 90's cartoons can still remember our favorite episode of "Are you Afraid of the Dark?" or "Rocko's Modern Life". and that's because they were decent funny cartoons.

There was a marathon on like...about a month ago on this Nicktoons channel...I only watched a couple episodes.

They do this sort of thing now and then.

I'd like to see it more, even though it's old and they'll never make new episodes. And if they do, they'd most likely make it suck.

I agree, but I also want to see some shows with the Tom and Jerry kind of violence. That show was funny, but sadly it is not on much anymore. =(

]Eh...not really. I liked it when I was small, it's just dumb now. And I think it's still on in the East Coast.
But what if it was on adult swim and it had more dark jokes like it should have?
I can see it going on adult swim, but I wouldn't want to humor to spiral toward vulgarity just because it has the freedom to, though I'm sure the author wouldn't let it come to that.

The show was canceled and the author moved on, I would want the show back, but I don't think it ever could be what we want it to be, the guy responsible has been involved in other projects and has probably moved on.

I do want to see invader zim back, continuing the trends towards narrative set in the second season. however, this would make zim fanboys happy, and I despise zim fanboys.
right on brother...or sister. Some zim fans make me cringe

...Yes. Sorry but I've yet to find anything that mindless and/or creepy since, it filled a nice little niche of 'crap to watch while I draw' and yet not be ashamed because of it's cartoon-ness.

But since Nickelodeon owns the rights to it, and Mr. Vasquez is of a differeing opinion from them as of this moment to put it lightly. I don't see it happening. And as a fellow artist I must concur, the best way is always forward in this case, or Nickelodeon will slowly begin to own your very soul, much like they do Hartman, the Fairly Odd parents creator.

while at ohiyacon the voice actor for gir was there and he explained why it was cancelled in the first place
it was cancelled because the nick producers didnt like it
they put it through countless trails and tests but got nothing but positive feedback from it
that is why it was cancelled because the nick producers are idiots
zims creator tryed selling it to cartoon network before it was cancelled but they turned it down because they thought it was a show about school
