1st Person: Non-inverted.

3rd Person: Inverted.

Playing through Assassin's creed one, I had the camera inverted. But it was inverted for 1st person too, so whenever I switched over to eagle vision, I always had to mess around with it for a minute before I realized its inverted.

I used to play inverted when I was younger, but I've just gotten so used to non-inverted.

Non inverted, makes more sense to me
Funny you should touch on flight sims, i was flying the...thing? in AC2 and having it inverted was weird at first but when i tried un-inverted it felt so unnatural, not sure why as i've always thought of it as the opposite

wow thats a lot of inverted out there... some say its better for strafing headshots but I guess its just down to what you've gotten used to over the years.

Inverted absolutely somehow got used to it that way and now when games don't give me a choice it just feels weird

I use non inverted for fps but inverted for flight-sims because with a flight sim I think of that as "forward" not "up" and with and fps I really think of it as "up.' It's the same controller either way, I know, but it's a matter of perspective.

People who like the inverted probably think of it like I think of flight sims.

I've played with inverted for as long as I can remember. The way I see it, is that I am not the faceless protagonist, but rather the 'pilot' of him/her, sitting inside the head. My room is the cockpit. Therefore, it makes much more sense to me to pull a stick down to look up. :p

Non-Inverted when on foot of in ground vehicles (car, motorbike, tank ect)
But in aircraft (Planes, Fighter jets, Spacecraft), Inverted seems more natural
But for helicopters, I tend to go Non-Inverted. Not sure why though.

Up = up. Even in flight sims, in which this is normally the opposite, i want the camera to look up when I press up (or swing my mouse up).
