It was on a halo 3 multiplayer battle. My friend jumped in a warthog and I got on the turret, we slaughtered maybe 5 people before being taken down by a rocket. That made me feel great.

Sorry to continue the COD4 theme here but these were quite epic by my standards. Playing HCHQ with my clan on shipment, got a 32 kill streak that included 2 airstrikes. Didn't kill any of my own team with either, one airstrike killed each member of the other team TWICE. Ended up being 44/3 after 5 mins, 121/15 for the game.

My clan were loving it because the other team were trying to hunt me (unsuccessfully) and getting massacred.

a few other instances, deagle sniping on crossfire, got a double headshot, laughed hard at that...17 kill-streak with just my deagle in that game. Didn't call my heli til i died...

On wetwork playing with randoms ended up being 108/8. Other team were brand new accounts, I think one player on that team had a k/d of 0/52... felt a bit guilty about that. in the course of that game, only one player from the original six stayed on the other team, the others all rage quit and abused me via PSN. That's when I stopped feeling guilty.

Counter-Strike: Source.

A small and brutal custom map, all 10 player slots were filled and me on my team , the others were dead, and 4 or 5 on the other. I can't describe it really, but I got on to a roof, where unless you see everyone first you'll be shot dead.

I took nearly all of them down with head shots using the desert eagle. Needless to say, I'm pretty run of the mill the rest of the time.

It was on "Mike's Server" if anyone here has played on that.

In Battlefield 1943, one time I had this great 6 person spree while taking a flag. What happened was on Wake Island, I was taking one of the two bases at one of the tips of the island. I came up the hill and hit the first guy with a wrench right as his friend next to him spotted me, he started shooting only for me to sprint up and hit him with the wrench. A sniper bullet flew right past me coming from behind, so I turned around to spot a guy with a sniper only about 30 feet away. I started sprinting after him and quickly killed him with the wrench. I turned around to face the flag and saw a guy standing next to it who noticed me, so I shot him with the machine gun as I walked towards him. As I finished reloading two more people came running past me, not noticing me I guess, and I shot them both with the machine gun, and turned around to see a guy charging me who I then just hit with the wrench.
It was a fun time, and I just finished taking the base afterward.

While playing Kingdom Hearts 2 there were about 2 levels where I was chopping down enemies left and right, I felt pretty invincible, and I thought to myself "I may have leveled up too much too early" Thankfully and to my relief, in the next level I was shown that I had leveled just enough to beat that level's boss. It was refreshing to have a game seem to know that I thought it was getting easy then slap me with difficulty.

On the other hand, while I make sure to take time to make sure I'm in prime condition before facing a boss in most challenging games, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess makes me feel invincible in the wrong way, to the point that I walk into most boss's room without worrying about what condition I'm in, since all you have to do is figure out their very simple pattern and hit them 2-3 times

Going 28 and 0 with a .50 cal in COD4, only stopping because the host ended the game.

That, and going 113 and 9 in domination on bog.

...I play COD4 too much.

Probably going 36-0 in a match in CoD4 (360), I swear my hearts never beaten faster than it did for the last 5 mins of that game, thought I was gonna have a heart attack or something.
That happens me any time I get a six kill streak, I start to panic and usually make a stupid mistake and lose my chopper. I think I'm too easily excited...
I'm the same, but that time it felt like I'd just been skydiving or something, I actually had to get a teammate to kill himself so I could take his ammo at one point.
Never wanted a match to end as bad as I did that game.
Haha that's one loyal teammate...

That's a great score though. My best ever game was 29-3 on overgrown.

I once had a third of my HP left with no vest and only a USP (pistol) as weapon in CS, and it was just me against 3 T's. Somehow, I managed to kill them all, including two headshots and a clever ruse before defusing the bomb.

That was ever so sweet, made even better by having a friend message me "You won't succeed" over Steam right before the slaughter.
My stats were still at a 2:1 deaths/kills ratio though...

I recently had a TF2 sniper run on a saigns.de server wherein I got 42 points in one life, but it seemed to me that was because it was a fast respawn and increased movement speed server, and everyone cared less about dodging around while in my line of fire, because they could get back in 5-10 seconds.

I remember when I got 180 in a 40 minute session on TF2 as a Spy and the person second to me got 110. That was a fun day.

A 25 kill streak in COD: World at War in free for all. Just in case some of you don't know, 25 kills is need to win the match. Nobody even had 15 kills when i hit 25 lol....

Medal of honor: Allied assault in multiplayer.

For five consecutive rounds I dominated the battlefield. It was a 'set up the bomb' kinda scenario in urban setting with a bridge under which the explosives had to be set.

Everyone else in the game from both teams had gone for snipers. Except me. Confused, I asked if this was a certain type house-rules match with snipers-only, but this was not the case.

So I killed 3/4 of the enemy team myself.

Next three rounds I continued to pwn them. On the last round I demolished the opposing team, using only a pistol to kill them all. My teammates got zero kills that round and the enemy team got one or two.

It took them that long to understand that perhaps snipers are not the way to go when most of the fighting happens inside buildings...

It didn't feel that great, mostly I was thinking 'What a bunch of morons'.

I experience that kind of euphoria in almost every game that allows it; there's always a point when I feel god-like and invincible (even better if it's not an RPG and I'm just overleveled), but I always know that something to prove me mortal is lurking around the corner. It's the games that shoot me down the hardest just when I feel the strongest - if they do it stylishly - that I tend to adore.

Devil May Cry 3 was full of these types of moments for me, but finding a game that could challenge me so aptly was a real joy. Even after mastering the majority of advanced techniques, getting effortlessly pummeled into the ground by Vergil 3 on DMD causes a strange sort of masochistic pleasure. Finally beating him, in turn, causes pleasure, period.

Back in the N64 days I was unstoppable in 007: Goldeneye multiplayer.

I was also really good at SSBM. I would fight three level nines (3 vs 1 not free-for-all) Bowser, Ganondorf, and Donkey Kong just for a challenge.
My brother was the Goldeneye champ in my house. However, I pretty much did the same thing in SSBM, except against Link, Marth, and Ganondorf with Marth (I was the self-proclaimed "Counter King). The next day, I was taken out(easily) by a human duo of Fox and Falco. That pretty much obliterated any pride I had of the previous day.

Beating every single event match in SSBM and SSBB (hard mode)

Also, I bet my sister I could win a 1 v 3 match against 3 lvl 9 Ganondorfs on SSBM. 1 Stock.

hehehe

Gears of War 2. I was playing a quick game of guardian with a less than adequate team. Our leader had been killed and so had the rest of my team. It was me and some other guy on my team on the other side of the map. Three members of the other team, one being the leader, were trying to find me and I came up behind them and killed their leader and they noticed. The other two turned around and I killed one with a shotgun. The other one attacked me and I jumped out of the way and downed him. I came up and executed him and then saw the last guy and took him out with a shotgun. I won that round by myself and was fueled with energy for the next ten minutes.
