It depends. If immortal meant I still aged, so I'd be freakishly old, and still growing older, I would pick invincible. But if it meant that you didn't age past, say, 25, I would pick immortal.
I think most Immortality described as forever young.
So ageing wouldn't be a problem.
An Axe might be though :p

For me....
I'd say Immortality, Invincibility would, in my opinion make a person cocky and arrogant, what consequences could they face?

I would choose immortality, but with two considerations, only if I remain young and if I can physically change e.g. weight exercise makes me stronger.

I'd try to learn as much as I could and train my body to peak human perfection, I earn millions of dollars gather political influence and try to shape humanity for the better, or more realistically do whatever I want. The only downside is I could see myself becoming agoraphobic and afraid of any injury. But this way I could eventually die when I wanted.

Invincible. If I was immortal,I would keep aging and stuff. I learned that from a Justice League episode.

Immortal. As long as I stayed out of trouble, I'd have all the time in the world to find a way to become invincible as well.

Invincible, totally. I don't think I'd like watching all of the people I knew die and I think I'd probably get massively bored after a few hundred years. And think of the amazing stuff you could do, like clearing landmines or rescuing puppies from nuclear reactors.

Also, what would happen if you were immortal but someone cut you into bits or blew you up? You'd be in pieces but still alive.

I'd choose immortality. It would be neat to see what the world is like 1000 years from now.

Immortal. Like basically everyone on the planet, I could avoid most physical peril. Invincible seems a little silly to me. Seems like the only purpose to invincibility would be for attention, because what is the point of invincibility if you do not proactively use it, and proactively using it would eventually garner attention for it.

And the whole super hero thing if superhero comics have taught us anything, would work until you screw up and loose the favor of the public. Though it would be rather enjoyable to have invincibility if you plan on being a villain with the power, until you get subdued and have to spend the remainder of your life imprisoned.

Invincibility easily. As I say in every other topic regarding immortality, I would NEVER live forever. That would be awful (just play Lost Odyssey and you'll see what I mean). Besides, invincibility gets rid of a hell of a lot of worry. Maybe I could jump out of speeding cars for fun, or sky dive without a parachute.

well actually, considering you invincible you'll probably outlive most everyone you know. think about it, you'd never get sick and no matter what happened you'd always be in perfect health. you would even be able to kill your self because, depending on what kinda of invincibility this is, the bullet will bounce off your fore head, or you'll just heal up and spit it out.

OT i'd probably immortality.
i say probably because it really depends on the details. if invincibility means i also get superhuman strength, then i pick that.
if immortality means i don't age physically past, oh- twenty three or somewhere around there and i don't die of illness then i'd pick that.
The key there is most everyone, and that happens to most human beings anyway. I would rather outlive some of my friends than every single one I ever make ever. There is also the fact I wouldn't outlive any children I may have, which is a big thing for me. I don't want to see any offspring die, let alone entire generations of offspring. That's really my point, with invincibility I only may outlive some, most, or everyone I currently know. With immortality and a stable lifestyle, it becomes a mathematical fact that I will outlive everybody I ever come in contact with.

I'd pick immortality....cuz then I could make it my life's work to build a time machine, and when I eventually did, I'd go back and pick invincibility....
This might be one of my favorite responses.
Clever indeed

well, i'm pretty sure you could make one hundred and fifty, considering you'll never physically deteriorate... we need a scientist in here.

Eternal youth type immortal? Because that's what I would choose. Because Invincibility for a few decades would be fun, bu you still die from cellular degradation

Invincible. Living forever would be worse than any hell.
Yes pretty much this.

I mean Invincibility might make you live a bit longer than others, but you still die from old age anyways.
Yeah, but being immortal, as soon as you grew tired of life, you could just end it on your own terms.

I think I'd pick immortality. I'd love to see where we end up in a few hundred years.

These two concepts are similar in that they both obviously avoid death in some way. Immortality takes death by old age out of the picture, while invincibility protects you from harm (for the purpose of this survey, invincibility does not protect from deterioration of cells. a.k.a old age).

So if you had to choose, would you live forever or live a life without injury (and why)?

P.S Trust me, I know the speed of your cells' independent degeneration is indicative of your invincible longevity so theoretically it doesn't make sense, but frankly neither of things are possible. So, which would it be?
Hmm...is this similar to the Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks?

Immortal but not invincible? One who kills and is killed?

In those books the character can die but he comes back to life at the cost of one of his loved ones dying...added to that natural immortality from age and that sounds lovely...

Granted minus the whole loved ones dying thing.

How would you end it in your own terms?

I dont think suicide can stop immortality.
